Nice amber pour, hazy, with a nice tan head. Cascade hop nose and taste. Aroma and taste are full of citrus fruits. Spice is present to compliment the citrus. Some malts with the hop flavor. Finishes resiny, grapefruit like. A very drinkable IPA.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Savvy1982 (1320) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 19, 2010
Bottle from Marcus Foods. Pours red/amber, 1-finger off-white head, great lacing. Nose is muted grapefruit hops, caramalt, some "juicy" character, rather one-dimensional. Flavours run to the grapefruit end of the spectrum, very nicely carbonated, spice and grapefruit sits atop a nice caramelly malt profile. Nice, but not over-the-top.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcberko (2196) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 9, 2010
12 oz. bottle, pours hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts, hops, citrus and pine. Flavour of citrusy hops, herbal notes, caramel malts, with pine later on - nicely balanced, though I’d like the hops to be more up front.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 pauls_parade (298) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 5, 2010
Copper-amber colored with a nice one-inch foamy head which left good lacing down the glass. Citrus, pine, and floral aromas with a touch of fruity esters, especially pineapple. The palate is medium in body, lightly carbonated with a lasting finish. The flavor was well-balanced with lot’s of juicy citrus hops and a pine & herbal like bitterness in the end. A solid IPA. Good for that needed hop fix.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling.
It pours a ruddy amber color with a frothy white head. The nose is full of pine, citrus, herbals, and a touch of earth. The flavor is solidly bitter with a light malt prescience. The pine and herbal notes really come forward. Do yourself a favor and don’t let this one sit around. The hops morph into a papery, vomitous mess. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a long, bitter finish. This is one solid IPA.
