I’m sure this is a great beer if you’re a fan of the style, but it is too much for my taste.

Pours a light orange with a thick white head. It has a freshy piney aroma. The taste is of slight grapefruit and pine hops with a decent malt. There’s nothing bad about this beer, but it’s your typical mediocre IPA clone with nothing special to offer.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 MPosey (130) - , Georgia, USA - MAY 13, 2010
A very nice beer. Pours a nice color with a decent amount of head that doesn’t want to go away. Initial attack of cascade hops which finishes nicely.

Probably my favorite IPA. A great balance of hops and malts, and a wonderful aroma.

Don’t know why it took me so long to get to this one. Definitely a huge oversight on my part. Tap at Max’s. Pours a clear red-orange with a white head. Hoppy aroma with flowers and tropical fruit. Fresh pine hop flavor with citrus and grapefruit. Nice balanced toasted malt. Great easy going IPA.
4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Chronoflash (76) - New York, USA - MAY 7, 2010
A rich, wheat colored head with some persistence, over a translucent amber to reddish copper body . A medium high piney hop aroma that takes precedence over time, mingling with malty, caramel, and brown sugar notes and a hint of alcoholic sting. A medium-high bodied mouthfeel, heavy for the style, made moreso with the creamy vitality of the froth. She comes in smooth and sweet, a pretty malty taste, with the character of resinous grain (cereal/bread) and caramel. High hop bitterness on the finish that coats the mouth long after the drink, and persists after the medium booziness of the brew fades and the hop taste (medium-high piney and resinous) subsides. A wonderful brew. A bit malty for the style, though I understand attempting to balance the deep bitterness.
