The aroma is amazing floral and resiny with hops. Just a great beer to smell, and the flavors carry well throughout. Body more grapefruit/citrust, with a little bit of malt to balance

Brilliantly vibrant hoppy nose - floral and citric with near eye-watering, well, hoppiness. Pours a rich and pure copper with a fluffy and persistant beige head. The flavour doesn’t quite match the promise of the nose, with the alcohol coming through a little too strong (compared to, say, a Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale); nevertheless it’s very pleasant with plenty of grapefruit and sweet malt. As you go on the hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness seem to argue more than balance leaving a somewhat astringent finish - probably from the hops. All told, a great starter and medium finishes.

What can I say? This beer understands me! It pleasures me in exactly the way I want to be pleasured (by a beer), not to mention its being perfectly proportioned (malt, hop and alcohol wise). Unfortunately we live on opposite sides of the Can/US border (long distance relationships suck). But I have a hard time with commitment anyway, which is why I didn’t give this beer perfect marks -- what if something better comes along? Seriously though, this beer is a keeper.

12oz bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a deep, clear amber body with a bit of off-white head that leaves some sticky lacing. Aromas of priney/resiny hops and a bit of apricot sweetness. USA SCORES!!! 2-2 now. Taste is immediate pine/resin hops, very light caramel sweetness and some floral hops towards the end. Medium body and mouthfeel. Long resinuous bitter finish. A bit unbalanced, but still a solid beer.

Smells really hoppy soon as you open bottle. Pours nice reddish with small head. tastes bitter and caramelly, with some malt and is a great hoppy ipa. I’ve had tons of times but never rated before well no longer enjoying during blizzard.

A strong malt with aggressive bitterness, but kinda restrained hop aroma and flavor for what you would expect from the label. Thick with a bit of the nuttyness of the malt coming through. I think I just expected them to bring more elements of the hop out other than just the bitterness.

somewhere between dark amber and red. off-white cream head. light citrus notes with a grassy, herbal aroma. the hops weren’t as challenging I’d expect from something called ’hopdevil". bitterness builds towards the end. enjoyed.
