Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

35,5 cl bottle @ home, EB 24.03.2012
Aroma has hops with resin and exotic fruits, but also some bready malt. Flavour is hoppy and sweet with bready malt and resin. Hints of alcohol in the finish. Also hints of cardboard on some sips, maybe this is a bit too old? Too sweet and sticky, but the hops are rather nice anyway.

Aroma is malty with hints of vanilla. Appearance is a darker amber color with a slightly tan head. Taste is of, herbs, earthy, vanilla, woody, banana. Overall an excellent beer that has a great aroma and a nice long smooth taste.

On tap @ sierra from notes. Pours a nice off golden hue, just a bit darker, more depth. Aromas are bitter, with some orange zest citrus, pine, very aggressive nose. Palate follows nicely, citrus is up front with a heavier mid palate and ripping bitter finish that is seemingly refreshing. Went well with the unusual scrapple plate.

Bottle 330ml at Biero. Great hop character. Aromas of caramel, nuts, cherry. Taste is sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Aroma of oranges and malt with a touch of flowers. Pours an amber-red with a short lacy head. Tastes mellow and sweet and finishes with an effervescent, aggressive bitterness. Flavors of orange, lime, rye, and a hint of honey. I would place it on the less-sweet, very hoppy side of IPA-land.
