2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 LakeHigh (28) - Charleston, South Carolina, USA - OCT 14, 2011
I lliked this beer better than hop wallop by the same brewery, but my first impression was dawn dish washing soap. As I drank further, it got better, and didn’t taste quite so soapy, but remained a little out of ballance toward hops and cloying bitterness, and didnt have a whole lot of malty flavor or residual sugar to counterballance it. If you are a hops fanatic like I am a hot pepper fanatic, you will probably like this one, but I am a big fan of ballance, so I have to give this one the thumbs down

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 mkel07 (1555) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 13, 2011
355ml bottle. Deep[ golden amber bordering on copper with a thick fluffy cloud of beige foam. Rich full hop aroma with a caramel and butter popcorn backdrop. The flavour is intense with a creamy fullness to it and a texture that dances across the tongue. The flavour stays in the mouth long after the beer has gone.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Prokroustis (361) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - OCT 11, 2011
Clear red body with a white head. Aromatic hops in the aroma, pine, caramel. Very nicely balanced bitter flavour, sticky, long lasting finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Koyo (239) - SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2011
Sample at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2011. This one was one of the more surprising beers at the 2011 SBWF. Not having read that much about it I just went with a hunch and ordered it. The beer had a very rich malt base with tons of sweetness and a rich body. Poured a dark amber with a thick white foam, good looking beer. Then came the hops, a perfect, crisp bitter that lasted for what seemed like forever. This beer had such a long finish! Though the hops were so intense the beer never felt unbalanced, extremely good brew!
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GhostFace (185) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Nice orange pour with a frothy head. Bitter up front that doesn’t linger. Good combination of malt/hops. A solid IPA for sure
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 zgaier (159) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - OCT 5, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2011 Great IPA from Victory. The bitterness is not overpowering, but provides a nice initial taste with a clean finish. Nice, drinkable IPA that I would turn to again.
