Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Bottle: Poured a shimmering opaque light copper-amber ale into the glass. Decent 2 finger rocky cap lasts well and laces. Aroma is a massive gob-smack of Cascade and Warrior hops with a big floral-grapefruit bouquet, some earthy sweetness from the malts. Impression: Substantial malt backbone, soapy mouth feel, medium-light body... citrusy hop-rich smooth character. Profile: Up front rich amber malts attack for just a second then a rush of NW hops produce a acerbic marmalade on toast effect....mid palate the hops get stronger as the bready toasty malts drop back,,,,as you approach the finish it turns slightly dry as the hops still hang in creating a bittering finish and lingering metallic aftertaste. This is a rock solid crafted APA with all the Pacific NW hop flair out pacing the big malts...not as full bodied and balanced as Libery ale but good standard sipping fare for hop heads.

12oz bottle. Code date of 8/9/15. Appearance: Deep amber and clear with a light khaki head. Aroma: relatively faint hop aroma for an American IPA. Some floral and herbal notes, but it’s minimal. Caramel malt also noticeable. Taste: Rich caramel and toasty malt flavors dominate, with a sharp hop bitterness that has some herbal and resinous notes. Mouthfeel: Medium body with some viscosity and low carbonation. Finish: Some lingering herbal bitterness and caramel malt. Overall: Definitely an east coast as opposed to west coast IPA. More malt balanced than a west coast IPA. Drinks like a slightly hoppier American Amber

Amber, big foam. Filtered. Grassy resinous fruoty hops in the nose. Medium body. Taste is a bit flat, not incredible!

Pours a light yellow color until it settles into a light copper color. Drank this beer on nitro which could explain why it was creamy with a light IPA bitterness aftertaste. Minimal floral flavor, more of a light IPA in complexity as well as characteristics.

Nice aroma and taste. Some pine together with the hops but it is too bitter for me....

Appearance: Very light haze in the deep amber to copper body. Short light tan head with average to poor retention. Settles in a light coating.
Aroma: Very light aroma with malt sweetness, light peppery aroma, tea and herbal hop aromas.
Taste: Moderately bitter grapefruit runs through with peppery floral overlying flavors. Solid malt backing with a lingering spicey hop presence.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: The hop profile isn’t a favorite of mine. Decent IPA, but not for me.

In bottiglia da 33cl. Aroma di caramello, erbaceo e vegetale. Al palato resinoso, vegetale ed erbaceo. La luppolatura ha lasciato solo un amaro eccessivo mentre i suoi profumi se ne sono già andati.

330ml bottle, poured into tester glass. A: Bronze, clear, medium disappearing had, left some lacing. S: Pine, orange, malts, zest. T: Slightly sour apples, hint of charcoal, fruity but initially it didn’t have vast amounts of bitterness. Finished with a hit of wheat and eventually there was some bitterness which lingered, the malt to IBU balance was slightly on favour of the malt. M: Light to medium body, not too much carbonation. O: Good but not memorable, would get buried under the all the good east coast IPAs.

Good, solid IPA. Aroma is a little bit to weak, but except this it’s more than ok. Strict, honest, bitter beer.
