Purchased at the Fireside in Strasburg, PA. Overall, this was a fantastic IPA. Pours with a hazy amber color, producing a solid standing white head with tight and sticky lacing. The nose is hoppy, as the name suggests: sweet, with florally, mildly fruity and piney aromas. The taste is decently balanced, although I the malt hints could be a bit stronger. It starts out sweet, with notes of pine and tropical fruits, that transitions to some malty notes. The finish is dry, hoppy and lasting – perhaps a bit too lasting. Simply wonderful!

Aroma is piney hops. Taste is piney hops as well. Not a bad beer, though fairly simple and straightforward. Not much balance or complexity.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with a white head and lots of lacing. It has an aroma that smells like raw hops with lots of line and some citrus. The flavor is raw pine and citrus hops up front with a long, bitter finish over a medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle from Bottledog. Pours amber. Massive resinous hop aroma continuing to the taste with bucketloads of pine, resin, tropical fruit & malts with a restrained bitter finish. Lovely stuff.

Tap at Dino’s Sports Lounge. Pint glass. Great lacing. Copper, maybe deep golden. Hop hits you on the nose. Malt undertone comes through as you begin to drink it. Heavy hop presence in the middle and especially at the finish. Reminds me of standard MN hoppy IPAs. I enjoy it. The hop devil went down to PA and beat Johnny this time.

Bottle in Orange County while on holiday at my daughters: 8th July 2014. Looked good, amber with an orange hue to it’s body the head an orangey beige colour. Hops all the way here, and I liked them. Piney in nature but with a malty undertone ensuring the beer is not too bitter. It was up against Anchor Liberty Ale and Ballast Point Big Eye in my mini-tasting and this beer won hands down in my eyes. Very, very drinkable: in fact I had the whole four pack while staying in Cali (plus plenty of other beers too of course).

A war of the ages. The difference between right and wrong. The separation of good and evil. The space between heaven and hell. This beer balances it hoppy flavor on the high wire between them all. HopDevil battles for your favor by delivering a calming effect as you find your inner demon. It goes down easy and beckons you for more. Caution my friends - a drinkable beer like this one can easily silence the angel on your shoulder and bring out the devil in you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Grünerlřkka brygghus. Clear amber with an off-white head. Malty hop juice aroma with caramel, fruity notes and hints of herbs, citrus and malt. Fairly sweet with the hoppy and fruity notes. Finishes with a balanced bitterness. Decent stuff, but lack of freshness pulls down.
