COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, earth, moderate hoppy, pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Not in full balance. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

I have to rate this - even though it’s some time since I had it (against my own rule). But this was without comparison my favorite beer from my June visit to the NE US. The hoppy bitterness stands out in a class of it’s own - all I can say - try it - if You have the chance.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied with some caramel and then a rather unsophisticated hopping which mainly leaves bitterness. Not overly interesting. 191206
