4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
First off, this bottle says best by March 18th 2013, so it’s about a week past its prime. Pretty clear beer with some small particles floating around. Two fingers worth of head that stays at about one through the glass. Very nice lacing. The aroma is of spice and malt with hops there, but definitely in the background and more subtle (I presume because of the age of this beer). The taste is... interesting. Truth be told, it tastes like V8 juice to me as far as the "spice" is concerned, but without any vegetable notes (thank God). Sweet through the front of each sip, with a slightly bitter, spicy finish. Really, I get a LOT of peppery notes in HopDevil, and I don’t mind. The mouthfeel is smooth, and a slight coating is left in the mouth on each sip. HopDevil’s a very good beer, and this one’s not even fresh. I would try this again out of a fresher bottle.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 fl oz, Enjoy by 24/11/2015 10:48 P. Pale amber colour with frothy off-white head which reduced to a ring but left some nice lacing. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, caramel and sweet malt. Medium bitterness, light sweetness and a hint of saltiness. Noticeable alcohol. Light to medium body; thin, slightly sticky texture; average carbonation; noticeable malt backbone and a long, slightly dry, pine bitterness in the finish. Not as hop dominant as I was expecting but decent enough. 8.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear, dark amber colored beer with a huge, three finger high, beige-white head. A lot of lacing stays on the glass.
A great nose! I’m a little suprice of the malty nose!
Caramel malt, bread, fudge, brown sugar, butter, biscuit, fudge and grass.
Taste: Caramel malt, grass, pine, dark bread, hops and oak.
Body: Medium to full body. Medium carbonation. Smooth, oily taste.
A great IPA from Victory! Bold and malty! I really like this.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Consigliata.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
perhaps the victim of a long voyage. Aroma was a bit salty/skunky, flavour a mix of biscuit and stonefruit. Finish is a bit muddy, nothing to get overly excited over. shame

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is lacking in hops, aroma is mostly some caramel with light hints of lemon. Taste is mostly caramel as well with some bitterness, the bitterness is a bit astrigent and feels misplaced. Dissapointed in this beer but I’ll try it again to -see if it is just an age problem, but htis should be realatively fresh. Drink date 2015-07-20 and enjoy by date is 2015-10-06.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 33 cl from systembolaget. Amber with a thin beige head. Malty, caramel, fudge, slight hop tone. Some bitterness, wormwood, maltiness. Medium/light body, medium/low carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Maybe too old, no fresh hops aroma.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Damian Beer and Ale. Hoppy piney citrusy aroma, grapefruit. Resiny. Slightly hazy reddish amber colour, small head. Taste is hop-centered. High bitterness, a little bit harsh, alcohol slightly poking out. Light balancing candyish sugary maltiness. Overall seems somewhat unbalanced and unnecessarily harsh considering the not so high ABV.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Blackrock cellar. Pours amber. Pine, butter, earth aroma. Again a bit stale. Butterscotch, wood, caramel with mild grassy bitter finish. Medium Carbonation. Light body. A bit unbalanced on the hops. Think it’s off a bit.
