Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Bottle pours a slightly cloudy copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is very hoppy, some citrus, some sweet malt. Taste is spicy and of course lots of hops. The finish is a bit harsh, somewhat alcoholic. Decent carbonation. Some caramel and grapefruit, but very bitter overall. A good IPA, but not as well-balanced as some.

Bottle. Perfumed zesty hop aroma. Dry, and spicy, reminiscent of British beers. A bit like an ESB - and good stuff.

Deep copper/bronze with generous dark beige head. Beautiful aroma of caramel, citrus, pine, pepper, grapefruit, melon. Thick sweet lightly toasted biscuit base on taste, more floral hops than nose, mild fruitiness, touch of alcohol punching through - super balanced. Great medium, slightly syrupy mouthfeel, low-medium carbonation. Finish starts sweet and wet before drying bitterness lingers. Just awesome.

Actually at Hopfenreich on the tap. Farbe, anfängliche Schaumkrone und Geruch o.k. Dann läßt aber stark nach. Kann man gut wegtrinken und dann eher vergessen...

Bottle. Heavy malty aroma of caramel and roasty. Heavy hoppy aroma of citrus, pine and grapefruit. The flavours starts sweet but finish moderate bitter. The body is medium and the texture juicy. Soft carbonation

Bottle from the rake. Quite a treat. Loving the hops and a very pleasant aftertaste. Malty, and bit soapy. Good enough for me.

Aroma is malty like a barleywine, pine, tropical fruit, earthy hops. Appearance is amber red, light tan head, way off. Taste is very malty, sticky, earthy hops, pine, bitter. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, crisp carbonation, malty barleywine aftertaste. Overall, yikes. This is way off.

nice dark amber color, great all-around IPA. Easily one of the most drinkable

Pours a nice dark amber color, scent of caramel malt. This is a pretty malty IPA which is also loaded with non-bittering hops. It is a medium bodied ale, somewhat resinous and sticky. There’s just a tad too much malty sweetness for me, and I used to drink this one quite a lot until I tired of that element. Still a well made and well-rounded, easy drinking brew.

Bottle, 355 ml from Ščurk. Shared with JFK10000. Pours orange, small off white head. Almonds in aroma? Hoppy, malty, caramel, fruit, bitter finish. Expected bit more aroma but it’s not the freshest one I guess.
