Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

This is what a hoppy beer should taste like, the bitterness is so much more pleasant than the beer I had before it. Although I took major points off appearance for itís label. Itís story about farmers believing in hop devils is lame and false. My family is all farmers and no one believes in that, corn devils, wheat fairies, or any other such things. The only thing even close are pinto bean imps. But Iíve seen one of those, that shitís legit.

Pours clear copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, pine, grass and floral. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, caramel, fruity, piney and grassy finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

12FL OZ ($21 12pack) first off donít let the name fool ya, this is not some IBU power house but rather a fairly easy going drinkable IPA. the guys at Victory have masked the taste of alcohol in the 6.7%ABV beer to the point that its like a soda; which is a good thing!. possible a hopdevil for the fact you can get wasted quickly and not see it coming. its a keeper.

12oz bottle. Cooper color with one finger head. Caramel, biscuit, pine aroma. Caramel, pine taste. Pretty good IPA with that flavor.

Pours a fairly clear amber color, topped with a relatively small and quickly disappearing white head. Malty aroma, notes of caramel and biscuits. Some resin also in there. Tatse is similar. Malty and caramely at first, a bit biscuity too, followed by a medium hoppy bitterness. Not bad, although a bit too malty balance.

Bottle - Clear almost amber hue, zero head to speak of here. Slight orange and floral notes. There is some bops flavor but not what I was expecting from the name.

Pours clear pale to medium amber with a short light tan head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Nose is caramel, mango, pine, herbal, slightly dank. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate to low carbonation, lingering slightly sticky and bitter finish. (3/5) A malt-forward A/IPA that is heavier on the mango/tropical notes than the piney. Sort of west coast-ish, but not overly so. Not bad, but nothing stellar. (14/20)

Clear ruby color with little foam. Amber smell. The taste is tart and not much more. The aftertaste is tart as well. Not very convincing.

Dark amber color with big head. Aroma is caramel and pine. Taste is more caramel, pine, a bit mango, a bit booze, nice bitterness. Not bad, and not your usual West coast IPA. Not 99th-percentile IPA material I think. Superb drinkability though. EDIT: Doesnít survive long in the glass, gets quite murky soon.

12 fl oz bottle into schooner glass. Fruity chalky nose. Bronze coloured beer with lasting off-white head. Lightly carbonated. Ohh....this is full of caramel notes mixed in with the hops. Really easy drinking, really well balanced. Great finish. Hides the alcohol well, great beer.
