nice, few inches high head, beautiful clear orange colour, fruity aroma with some spices and herbs, you can also find a bit of the pines in it, well balanced and not too heavily carbonated beer, well made IPA with good bitterness and some citrus flavor aswell.

superspak (2602) - Michigan, USA - SEP 12, 2014
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 12/30/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, biscuit, light toast, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus hop and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit. tangerine, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, caramel, biscuit, light toast, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly creamy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle from cornelius. Shared with jamestulloch. Pours an orange gold with a light white head which lasts. Aroma has a strong hoppiness with nice wood and floral notes with a little citrus fruit. Taste has a good sweet/bitter combo with a wood pine finish. A solid IPA

Pours a full orange with small white head big lace. Aroma of pine, floral hop, lemon, spice, earth, caramel, old citrus. Flavor is light sweet, citrus, and big bitter spicy floral hop finish. Med body, quite bitter - not too complex.

Look: pours a light amber color. Off white head. Very clear. Smell: sweet caramel. Citrus fruit. Tangerine. Grapefruit. Taste: grapefruit. Cat pee. Slight dankness. Feel: slight dryness. Makes you want to take another drink after each sip. Leaves a film on the mouth like most IPAs. Overall: good beer. Lots of citrus. First drank: home 9/9/14

kathouse (1015) - Nevada, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Amber with a huge head. Spicy hops, citrus, and toasted malt aromas are well balanced, both on the nose and on the tongue. Toffee lends to a great base for the citrus hop bitterness. Finish is dry but lasting. After a night of beer tasting, this was my cleanser.

aleigator (219) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2014
Pours a clear, brazen-amber color with a minimal, bubbly white head. The aroma is very floral and herbaceous, with a dominant, sweet maltiness among toasty biscuits and grains. The flavor shows a toasted malt base with moderate sweetness, which enhances the uprising fresh, sharp hop bitterness. Green grass and grapefruit bite into the tongue, while the toasty maltiness with hints of toffee keep things in good balance. Medium bodied and crisp on the palate, the finish is on the dry side, while malt still shines trough. The most convincing part of this IPA is its aftertaste, as it is surprisingly long and superdry, with hops sparking very late on the back of the palate, unleashing an enjoyable taste of fruits and grass just at the moment when you begin to think it may be over already.

Pleasant aroma. Nice straight forward bitter hops taste with some spice and citrus. Taste follows the aroma with the addition of some sweet fruity notes. Nice medium palate as well. As others have said, not a beginner IPA, but not the most complex. Worth trying and would make a good go to IPA.
