jezmez68 (281), Chesterton, Indiana, USA Jul 10, 2008 This is actually a very good IPA. I didn’t realize that the HopWallop was actually the stronger of the two. Pours an orangeish red/brown. Nice smell of hops, a good bitter tongue bite.
Lt_Dan (64), Greater Los Angeles Area, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Poured a dark orange, started with a 1/2 inch head that subsided quickly. There wasn’t much of an aroma, but what I did smell was grass. Tastes of malt and citrus like hops. Perfect level of bitterness. You know its there, but it doesn’t take control of all of your tastebuds. Very balanced, very crisp and refreshing. One of the best IPA’s the east coast offers. daknole (838), Plantation, Florida, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Golden/orange pour, with a smallish white head. Aroma is a citrus hop bomb. Flavor is pretty damn citrus hops as well. Grapefruit peel. Some malt that balances it a bit, but this one has some decent bitterness. Nice beer! WakeandBake (89), Greenville, Michigan, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle.A nice dark pour, hoppy hint of grapefruit in in the aroma and the flavor, nice malt body to balance things out. A nice brew for sure. Part of April Dayton Beertasting event.
Pours light orange foamy off-white head.
Aromas of spice, hops and citrus.
Slightly short finish but would buy again.
