Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Clear, apple cider color with a small thick foamy head that dissipates quickly. Aromatic orange and fruity-zesty hop aroma with a rounded sweet and slightly toasted malty background. Good hop bitterness early in the sitting. Caramel maltiness takes over as the beer warms. Soft watery mouthfeel, but with good carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish with no distracting sidenotes. A tasty drinkable IPA. Not as devilish as the name implies.

Bottle from Mitsuya. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Ruby red grapefruit juice, citrus, pineapple and resin on the nose. Soft carbonation makes for a smooth mouthfeel, although the booze is noticeable. Good fruit flavor with a big, aggressive bitter finish. A classic east coast IPA.

Pours a dark amber color. A definite malty backbone of caramel and sweet, heavy flavors. Smooth texture and easy too drink. Well balanced with citrus and floral hops. On the heavier side for an ipa but good.

Amber to red pour, light head. Best cold and poured into a chilled mug. Hops heavy on taste with a light finish

On tap @ Patricks. More than less clear golden/orange body with a firm white head. Aroma is citric fruity with some pine and a floral touch in combination with a nice maltyness. Flavor is as expected from the aroma, fine, sharp balanced citric fruit, malt and bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting fruity bitter aftertaste with a slightly floral edge. Nothing really specially really except for being a really nice, classic IPA.
