I was told by a salesman for Victory, that this is a great selling beer for them at the brewpub. Good flavor, German style. Higher on the carbonation, but well balanced of hops and malts. Good clean, crisp beer, little fruit taste in the finish. Worth the try.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (3585) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2010
Tap at David Copperfield’s. Pours a clear yellow with a mild, white head. Pleasant aroma of toasted, cracker malts and light citrus hops. Flavor has a crisp sweetness with some mild lemon notes and faint hops. Light to medium in body with sharp carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. There seemed to be a slight sour note and I wondered at the keg age, but overall not a major detractor. Good stuff none the less.
