This dark amber wheat beer features fruity and spicy aromas galore. Significant strength underlies the pleasant citric appeal of this bock beer. Redolent with the flavors of harvest fruit, Moonglow typifies the traditional weizenbock-style so thoroughly enjoyed throughout Bavaria. Left unfiltered, its unique yeast strain gives Moonglow a radiance all its own.

Alright for style. Doesnr have a lot of initial smell. A little skunky malt and such. Pours cloud yorange. A little lacing and head. Taste has some perfumed hops and some perfumy malt. Palate is watery with an aftertaste that changes from the initial perfume to a slighlty spicy vibe. On tap at Blue Monk.

12oz bottle. 1 oz taster poured a murky bronze with a 2 finger yellow head. faded slowly to nothing. Nose is nutty peanuts, salty, wheat and orange peel. Taste is very sweet up front, candy corns and licorice. Wheaty chewy finish.

Pours cloudy, tea-brown with yellowish-tan head and a lot of floating particulates. Scent is spiced caramel. Taste is sticky sweet caramel, fruits....wheat. Cloying sweet-sour....thickly boozy. Not enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a glowing haze. There are pieces of unfiltered wheat that spread throughout the beer. The most amazing head I’ve ever seen on a beer yet. A perfect pour brings more than half a pint glass of head that fades down to a drinkable measure and laces the glass and I consume.Smells of sweet wheat and dark fruits. The taste is the same and perfect blend of light malts and sweet fruits while some perfect bock flavors come through to even out with the citrus taste. Mouthfeel is flawless, it has the smoothest texture, goes down like water, the feeling only leaves me wanting more. Drinkablity follows as before, can’t be beat.

Lightly hazy brown with a ring of tan head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheat, and fruity. Smooth, full body. Fruity, caramel, banana, light clove, and light yeast notes. Very well done.

Aroma of caramel, toastiness, clove, alcohol and banana. Pours hazy red-brown with thick tan head and lots of suspended yeast. Taste is sweet/spicy with a hint of sourness. One of my favorite wheat beers.

Good, but too boozy for my taste. There’s a nice caramel action. Solid, but not my style.
