oakbluff (170), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada May 13, 2008 Serving from a 12 ounce bottle. Appearance- very pale straw colour with a slight haze. Head comes and goes quickly. Nose- grassy spicy hops. Taste- quite spicy in the front end, which quickly dries out into an aspirin like bitterness in the finish. Malt is very clean- a little bready. Carbonation is medium. Its tasty- just seems too harsh for this delicate style. Scauca (178), Lovere, Italy May 12, 2008 Draught. Very clear yellow with a nice white head. Nice grassy hop, flowery. Clean palate, very dry with an assertive lingering bitter end. ThaBobfather (70), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 11, 2008 I enjoyed this, but I felt it was a very average pilsener. It was better than normal, but not above. It smelled of some like hops and it tasted like every pilsener I’ve ever had that didn’t taste like asshole. bp (210), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 10, 2008 Bottle: pours a clear, golden amber with a frothy white head, hoppy, citrus and honey aroma, taste is mildly hoppy with a slight sweetness, crisp and clean. A great pilsner. Worthy of all the praise it gets. Gutterdawg (3), USA does not count May 8, 2008 Another fine vrew from Victory. Nice subtle hoppy aroma, great color. Thin head that dissipates somewhat slowly. Excellent beer when served in a tall pilsener glass, chilled well.
