COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Bottle. Gold with quarter inch white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Flavor is citrus, caramel and hay/straw. Nice pilsener.

Appears a nice golden color with a good white head. The head stays on as a white ring around the edge of the glass and leaves some lacing. The smell starts very bready but quickly becomes spicy. The taste is similar to a biscut at first, but again moves to a spicy and earthy flavor that really finishes nicely. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a good sting from the carbonation and hops. Overall, a great pilsner that goes down easily and is very refreshing on a hot day.

I poured a 12 oz bottle dated "enjoy by July 17, 2011" into a shaker. Look, I don’t like pilseners any more than you do, but this is as good as an American interpretation of the style could be. This raised a thick head out of the bottle despite an average pour, though this quickly dissipated to a ring of foam with lacing. A pale straw color, this fizzed nicely as I drank it, and went down like water - as a pilsener should do. There’s a hint of black peppery spice in the flavor that is surprising and pleasant, and the finish is longer, more complex, and hoppier than you would expect from the style. Overall, this is yet another notch in Victory’s impressive belt.

355ml bottle into a pils glass. Bright yellow with hints of gold and a snow white head that leaves a goodly amount of lace. Zesty citrus (lemon) on the nose with a light cereal grain quality. Nice round palate that keeps that really zesty feel with a crisp refreshing finish.

Pours a very light gold with a 1 cm white head leaving decent lacing on the glass. Smell is strong with citrus and piney hops. Initial taste is string with citrusy hops. Finish is earthy malt with a bit of bitterness. Light body.

Mal was Anderes! 7/9/9/8/10/9

Had at small bar. Grassy and hoppy. Quite a crisp beer. Not my favorite style but very well done for the style. Serving: Tap

12 oz bottle into footed pilsner glass. Thanks Brenn79. Stamped "Enjoy by Mar. 4, 2011." Expired--shit. Pours a hazy yellow (I thought it was filtered?) with a medium white crackling head that falls in a minute, leaving a light blanket. Aroma is grassy and a little lemony. Taste starts out sweet and a bit salty but quickly turns bitter--I like that in a pils. Crisp and refreshing. I wonder if the folks at Miller Lite have ever tasted one of these. They should be ashamed of their slogan "real pilsner taste" or "true American pilsner" or whatever it is. Highly carbonated and medium bodied. A truly great pils, expired or not.
