COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps oí hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jacksonís 500 Classic Brews

12oz bottle. Light gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is grassy, grainy and spicy. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are spicy and crisp. Light, crisp and refreshing. Nice pilsner. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Pours a clean golden color with a medium sized, white, foamy head. Nose is straw and hay, with some fresh grasses and yeast thrown in. Taste is very fresh with some light malts and straw, finishing very clean and crisp.

Had this at the Flour City Brew Fest. Slight hops aroma. Some citrus and hops in the body. Crisp, a fine brew.

Had at Rohrbachís summer brew fest on draft. Not positive this was the pils they brought. No aroma, heavy hops in the palate, typical of the german style, watery finish.

Bottle. Clear light golden color with a short lasting, nice looking head. Floral, hoppy aroma. Bitterness is most pronounced in the flavor. Not my favorite style but a nice beer nonetheless.

immense aroma of noble hops and grass, on a straw colored body. very refreshing, but a tiny bit too bitter and stinky--too many dusty german hops, if thatís possible. itís good, but why so highly-rated? i need the hops version of "cloying" to describe this. smells more balanced than it is.

Let me preface this by saying that Iím by far the best beer reviewer on this site. I say this with neither malice nor hubris, but with love. Now, on with the show... Victory Prima Pils. Delivered in from Ohio via my brother from a diff mother. Aroma is jagged lemon hops, good-homegrown skunkweed, gorgeous, light as wafer. Pours golden delicious apple, thick in the glass with brief and bubbly head. Finestkind spidery lacings; Iím caught in its web, good god. Flavor: eternally hoppy, bright but quickly dead, bitter butter aftertaste, but too bitter (believe it or not), not enough butter. Thin side of thick on the palate. You know what that means; think! Why does it smell so-o-oooo much better than it tastes? Menís Journal rated this North Americaís best beer. North Americaís best beer is ... is... Iíll keep you guessing, beastardo! Hint: this one ainít it...

Bottle, from Julioís. Enjoy by sep 03 05. Good nose, sweet and sour. Sourdough, little lemon, grass, Classic clean yellow/gold color. Good fluffy white head that faded quickly. Bitter flavors, lemon/grapefruit, a little tinny, some skunk, toasted grains. Thin body, lite creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish, nice spice on the finish. I like it, Iíve had APAís that donít have this much flavor

Bottle. Light golden color with white head. Mostly light malt and yeast on the nose, with a slight floral hop aroma. The hops blossom as the beer warms, both in aroma and flavor, which is interesting for this style. Light bitterish malt flavor in the beginning and throughout the middle, with a citrusy hop finish. Very crisp. Liked it better at room temp for the hop aroma, flavor, and bitterness. Iím slowly becoming a Pils fan because of beers like this one.
