Not bad pilsner overall. Nice traditional hoppy presentation, with a dry end. Somewhat overcarbonated in my first encounter with it.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2008 The description says full frothy head, they ain’t sh*ttin’ here. Straw yellow color with light lemon zest taste. Bitter hops behind the earthy flavor. Light and nicely done. <Rerate 8-18-08>. Every time I have this beer, I like it more and more. Fresh hops and doughy malts. Crisp and as addictive as crack.

about as good as the style is going to earn from me, plenty of bitter hoppiness, nice bright yellow color and pleasant carbonation. I'd drink these as summer sustenance very easily

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2004 Amber body with brief white head. Aroma decidedly hops. Good pilsner flavor. Best pilsner I’ve had.

Sunny, pale gold and crystal clear, with a decently fluffy cap of foam. Woody, spicy, and grainy aromas, with an undercurrent of wet rust. Crisp and spicy in flavor, but possibly the least-malty brew to pass these lips in a decade. Where's the beer? Finishes light and dry, 'though with an appropriately bitter aftertaste. Could be a hopped-up version of something you buy in a big can at the gas station.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Glowing golden colour with a small white head. Both aroma and flavour are full & crisp & chock full of hoppy goodness with a just enough maltiness in the background. A bit too hoppy for the style, perhaps, but I'm not complaining.

aroma - pleasing; appearance - cloudy and not very attractive; flavor - hoppy and citrusy/spicey; palate - pleasing to the mouth; overall - some woody flavor combined with hops doesn't spell a spectacular beer however, it is a good beer. i'll try this beer again, next time at a warmer temp. it's just got to be better.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy (from being served too cold) golden color with white foamy head. Decent hop aroma of spices, mildly floral. Light body with plenty of carbonation gives full mouthfeel. Bitter flavor of pepper and grapefruit, slight malt taste is non-remarkable. Hops stand out from beginning to end with lasting finish. This beer is thirst quenching, but not as dry as advertised. I'm just not a pilsener fan.

Definitely an American take on the style with its strongly aromatic hop presence. Citric and earthy. Bright, clean, delicious, and refreshing.

Light yellow with a big frothy head. Looks like your average American pilsner but it sure doesn't taste like one. This baby has hops galore with the malt background to support them. A well-balanced beer that is both flavorful and thirst-quenching. Would make a great Summer beer. The Bud and Miller crowd should break ranks and give this beer a try.
