3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 5, 2009 Clear yellow color, with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, but not overpowering. Flavor is bitter hops and malt. A nice, relativly straight forward beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is my favorite Pilsener. Pours a clear golden color, with a medium sized pure white head, which is mostly diminishing. A hoppy, citrusy aroma. The hops dominate the flavor, but the subtle undertones provided by the malts is what sets this Pilsener apart. Finish is long and dry. Another hit from Victory!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: Noble hop aroma (Saaz) and pale malt in the nose. Very clean as it should be.
Appearance: White head when poured, which quickly disappeared. Looked like a flat lager after it set for awhile, no head held at all. Clarity is very good, gold color.
Flavor: Hop flavor in the forefront supported by a toasty malt flavor which is just too lip-smacking good.
Mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, with a crisp hop bitterness that is refreshing.
Overall: One of my favorite beers, I'm glad this is offered year round.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice hop nose with a pleasent head when poured. The orangeish hue is a winner in my book. The taste was a little skunkish on the first bottle but second and third were good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Huge, lacey, white head, sparkling foam.
Aroma has citrus notes, lemon zest, flowers, and pineapple.
Delightfully light texture, long, welcome finish. Truly this must be the thinking man's "lawnmower beer". Possesses a certain zing that reminds me somehow of Duvel. I'm normally an ale man, but I would never pass up on
this pilsner. Are the fine folks of Downington, PA aware that among their modest ranks walk these brewing gods disguised as mortals?

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is one of the best pilsners out there hands down. It pours an nice golden hazy color and retains a full head. Has a grassy aroma to it, with hints of lemon. This brew has a rich aromatic hoppy taste which makes this a trully exceptional excellent brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 28, 2004 Solid golden color with a huge foamy white head. Looks exactly what the ideal pilsner should look like. Aroma is kinda grassy, almost like hay, but then again, I seem to always feel pilsners have that smell to them. Has a dry biting taste to it with almost a spicy climax as it goes down your throat and leaves a little hoppy aftertaste at the end. Overall, a good pilsner, but nothing I would consider great.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very good pils. Pours gold with good head and lacing. Aromas of hops, citrus, and underlying malt. Finishes very smooth, slightly dry, with blasts of hops and slight citrus. Great pils.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Johnny Brendas for Happy Hour. The barman was upstairs, still the chef came over to pour a pint. Straight up Pilsner, one to make the Krauts proud.

Floral nose. Hoppy with a bit of corn (but in a good way) flavor. If this was my first Pils I'd like the style.
