Very hoppy. The finish is bitter. I think the appearance is perfect.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden clear color. I was expecting a traditional pilsner, but the fruit overtones was surprising. Tart tastes of green apples, and spice. Good complex hops and a clean texture.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light hazy yellow body with a quickly vanishing foamy head. Green apple notes in the nose along with clean citrusy hops. Green apple is present on the tastebuds, with a finish that is all hops. The sweet malts that do come through as it warms are fresh and sweeet, but overwhelmed and hidden by the big hops. Very good pils.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 19, 2005 bottle-it has been 3 years since i had this beer. Well, i had to lower the ratings since this botte wasn’t that good really. pours a golden yellow hue with a foamy white head. Ohh no, this beer has diacytl. Since when did a victory beer have the big D? Its not overbearing, but its definately there. Some notes of bell pepper, malty sweetness, lemon and spicy german hops and yeast. Malty flavors with some notes of butter from the big D. long hoppy finish with lingering diacytl. Man, i have become very sensitive to that stuff. The body of this beer is one of the best in the style. full and rich! some nice herbal notes come out as it warms.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2003 Pours slightly cloudy and golden in color. Has a monsterous and explosive head that slowly descends leaving nice lace behind. Aroma is Hoppy, floral, maybe slightly sour. Flavor started off a bit sour (lemon), middle had some nice hops and spice to it, end was very dry, slightly bitter.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Typical Victory product. Tasty, well made, and hoppy as hell. nice golden color with cloud white head. Big hoppy, floral aroma. Incredibly hoppy taste for a pilsener which I enjoyed thoroughly. Dry, bitter finish.

Another good Victory Brewing product.
Smells good. The bottle I just opened
almost sounded like a champagne bottle
upon opening. Highly carbonated and pours
the biggest head of any brew I have seen.
Wonderful hop, kinda spicy flavor with a dry
finish. Very good pils.
