3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
a very light golden color that held a very small head for a short time.
The aroma is quietly hoppy.
Thee beer carried a nice carbonation and had a bit of bite on the tounge.
The flavor is a crisp bitterness which is not surprising as even the smell contained the hoppy warning.
The flavor was rather refreshing but not overly suited to my own tastes

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very clean golden color is a shade darker than the macro posers that are dime a dozen. The carbonation is natural, so the beer does not appear to be as fizzy as them either. There is however a steady stream of tiny bubbles constantly flowing upwards, feeding a tiny head.
The aroma is clean, delicate, and hoppy. It does not have any grainy, sour funk like a macro. The taste is a lot fuller when compared to a macro beer. There is a lot to like here with a crisp hoppy bitterness, sweet Pilsner malts with a mellow, mature lager character.
Pilsner is a difficult style to brew a distinguished beer in, but Victory has done it. I wish I had it available here to pass the summers in Hotlanta. Thanks Foxman for the taste of Pennsylvania.

Proper Pilsner. Malt and Hops throughout. If Victory made a Imperial Pilnser and I would be hooked.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
When I think pils this is the classic example. Brite golden color. Two finger head with staying power. Clean crisp malt character. Almost one dementional. The hops come through in the finish for a cleansing bitterness.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: APR 4, 2011 This beer puored a pale gold color with a nice lasting but small head. It was a little dry and a little hoppy. One of the best pilsner beers I have ever had.
From. Bottle again in 2011. Even better than before. Aroma and flavor of hops is clear but not overbearing. Mouthfeel and palate are perfect for the style.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Art of Beer Festival 2004: Has a clear golden color with little head. Smell is of light hops. Taste is lighty malted and finished with a light hop bitterness. Overall not the best pils.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2005 Golden color, no head. Citrusy aroma was the only decent quality. Very light in texture and palete. Hardly any lasting flavor. My brother said it tasted like licking an envelope. 6/2/5/3/11
RERATE: Golden pour with plenty of carbonation and a thin white head. Smell is a little sweet with some light hops. Flavor is MUCH better than I remember. Delicate and subtle but with plenty of taste. Malt flavor is much appreciated. The only thing I will knock is the aftertaste. That must have been what upset me during my first rating. The finish isn’t clear, and leaves an unpleasent flavor in my mouth. The palete is right on except for that.

Had a beer tasting a few weeks ago, this was hands down the lowest ranked beer in the lot. I did not enjoy it at all. Small head, aroma definitely on the skunky side.
Couldnt tell if the beer tasted old or not quite ready. A disappointment from Victory
