Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Very clean pilsner. Very good. Had it off a fresh keg and it was so good. Very crisp and refreshing. Hoppy. Light in color. Pours with a nice head. Pleasant.

A very pineapple color to it with a nice head of foam. Why oh must you snoop through the hood like every body from the hood is up to no good. word.Has a boring weak ass wannabe belgian aroma. Good beer, refreshing and worthy.

Aroma of mild sweet malt and soft floral hops. Taste of doughy malt and soft floral hops. Nice palate not to thin.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2003 Golden color with the typical white foamy head of a pilsner. The flavor, however, is not typical at all. It has the crisp hoppiness of a US pale ale, with a nice smooth maltiness underneath. A great beer; by far the best pilsner I've ever had.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2003 12 oz bottle poured a crystal clear golden color with a nice head, storm of bubbles, and very nice lace. The aroma is very hoppy and flowery. The flavor is very hoppy and has a solid malt backbone. Almost a buttery flavor in there somewhere. The palate is perfect. This is good.

Alas, one of the world’s finest Pilsners in my eager hand! Color is a very thin and golden-yellow, and depending on how the light hits it, shades of peach show also. Interestingly enough, a couple of sediment pieces are hovering near the bottom of the glass. The head is white, medium-full, and short-lived. Smell is on par, with a light hoppy odor. Taste starts off very bitter, dry and hoppy then becomes balanced by a sensible amount of fruit sweetness (pear and peach come to mind). My only gripe is that the aftertaste reminds me of skunked Heineken the longer you let it go. Other than that, this is an easy drinking, well-hopped, flavorful Pils that is certainly worthy of its high-ranking. Sampled from a 12 oz. bottle purchased from Total Wine and Beverage in Mclean, VA

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2003 Pours a slightly hazy yellow. Huge head, very hoppy aroma. Crisp and clean flavor, great hop presence and good malt balance. Fantastic!

Tangy hoppy aroma, of moderate intensity...Color is a pale yellow-gold with a fine, rich head that leaves sticky spots in its wake---very attractive in the glass...The flavor really rewards with its fresh, sharp hoppiness and light tang that had interesting resiny overtones...enough malt floor to provide support...the body was adequate, but the mouthfeel quite lively, helped by the fine dry finish...Quite a nice effort---another winner from this stellar brewery...

Very strong hops aroma with a hint of pine as I was pouring the beer. Very interesting. This is a pal golden beer that pours with a very nice head that lasts well and leaves a nice lace. The aroma is spicy hops, with a hint of something that I can only call a pine-like smell for lack of better terminology. The mouthfeel is very full bodied and silky. It has a nice hops kick in the aftertaste, but the malt is very present in the mouth.
