COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Poured from a bomber. Light hazy soft golden pour, big frothy head, decent retention. Light lace. Aroma was full of earthy, grassy hops, light orange peel and some lemon. Very nice. Flavors were right on par. Light crisp pale malts, light lemon throughout. Only a light bitterness in the finish, super dry and crisp. A good bit of carbonation made for a light fizzy mouthfeel that rounded out this Pils in great fashion. Great stuff.

DRAFT from Wishbone on Lincoln in Chicago. Nice hoppy nose; bright yellow color almost looks like an American pilsner...think they kept head down so they could fill up the entire glass..but tastes so much better; malt and hops intertwine in here...well. Very good for sipping with a bowl of shrimp with bacon / mushrooms over cheese grits...would go well with other spicy foods as well.

It pours a nice golden hue with a touch of cloudiness. On draft at local pub so it pours with a nice head and leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lot of empahsis on hoppiness here with a long lasting finish. This beer seves as an indictment to all those American macro beers that taste like frigging water.

Pours a golden yellow with a thin head that does not linger. Aroma has hints of citrus and malt. Taste is delightful and refreshing. Hops are present throughout and remain in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is a little metallic. A good beer and an even better Pilsner.

[on tap] Apricot and vanilla aroma with some base malt. Clear gold under thin, lacy white. Intense, almost resinous hops flavour of apricot, peach, a little pine, and citrus accents from the fermentation. Assertive bitterness. Considerably bitter finish, medium body, medium carbonation.

Pours golden color with a snow white head that disappears quickly. Some citrus and hay in the nose. Crisp hoppy taste, not long on sweetness or bitter. Fizzy carbonation and a crisp, slightly astringent finish.

Pours clear golden with a small white head. Smells like a regular beer, not really malty and mild hop smell. Tastes pretty much like a typical lager/pilsner but with a bit more flavor; not too impressed though. On the lighter side of medium-bodied with typical pilsner-style texture and carbonation, Prima Pils finishes a little dry but not badly. I wasn’t impressed, but I generally don’t like pilsners.

Poured into a flute. 4.0 A: A tiny bit hazy. Straw colored. Very nice head retention and steady stream of bubbles from bottle of glass. Leaves plenty of lacing. 4.0 S: Hoppy for the style. Grassy and herbal hops. Balanced well with sweet and spicy malt character. 4.0 T: Hops manifest themselves in the taste as much as they do the nose. Quite bitter for a Pils. Earthy first, then spicy. Hopheads will love this. Though I love hoppy beers, I really don’t want my Pilsners to be this bitter. Still, it is done really well if you accept that it’s out of the ordinary. 3.5 M: This is the low point of the brew, but it isn’t terrible. It could be a little creamier, but that’s about it. 4.0 D: Not a boring Pilsner in the least. This Pils thinks it’s an IPA. This should keep you happy for a while.
