4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 ekstedt (3625) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 19, 2012
Bottle (33 cl) from bierzwerg.de. Clear straw golden, large rocky white head. Hayish malt aroma with strong floral, herbal, and grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with a massive, yet elegant bitterness. The best non-german pils I’ve had.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 theOptimator (210) - Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Aroma is fresh aroma hops.... floral, lavender, citrus. lemon. Appearance is golden and crystal clear. Medium white tan head. Full carbonation, big bubbles. Looks like a glass of champagne. Taste is floral and citrus aroma hops forward. Much grapefruit hop bitterness present. Grainy malt sweetness also stands up to all the other flavors. Palate is medium light and very crisp. Much bitterness paired with a grapefruit twist make this a refreshing drink. Overall an excellent Pilsener. Everything is great. The best of the style I have had.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 stangger (461) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2012
12 oz bottle. Light golden pour. Earthy aroma, yeast, crisp malt. Taste is crisp pils malt, nice hoppy backbone that shines through at the end. It’s very good but I have a tough time rating pilseners too high.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 shonobiwan (61) - Sound Beach, New York, USA - JAN 10, 2012
Long Island, NY - 12 oz. bottle poured a hazy golden color with a good amount of head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is a definitely hoppy but not obnoxious. It’s like a trip though a orchard of fruit trees with a hoppy touch. Initial taste is slightly sweet which is quickly taken over by the two distinct hops. The tones of both hops comes through but they go well together. Mouth feel is good, full But not too heavy. I’m happy I found a good pils in a IPA heavy world. Good stuff...
