pours medium gold with a thick white head that settles nicely into a thick film. aroma is light and floral...pleasantly hopped, mildly spicy. first couple sips of this brew suggested a bit of skunk and a bit extreme on the bitterness, but after the palate adjusted and it got a moment to breathe, it drank nicely. still very bitter, there is a good level of floral and citrus hops, hint of malt and corn...solid for the style. palate is well above average for the style...good level of creaminess...lingering bitterness. not my favorite style, but a fine rendition nonetheless.

i don’t think that this beer really requires any kind of explanation...it’s just universally the best year-round Pilsener brewed in America.

I agree with other reviewers, this is the East’s best pilsener. Delicate flavor, subtle hops in the finish, great mouthfeel. A beer like this is tough to pull off - there’s nowhere for imperfections to hide. Mellower than West Coast offerings. A classic, clean pils that I honestly prefer over the imports I can get.

Great pils, though not my favorite style. Mild malt and hops. Earthy and a little lemon. Nose and taste are balanced well.

Best US pils available on the easy coast. If you know of better let me know. Need a break now and again from all the hop thrashing I've been doing to my tongue with mostly IPAs and DIPAs!

Bottle at home. Pours a classic yellow with lively head. Bready aroma with assertive earthy hop flavors. Dry finish. Extra points for a well-brewed beer.
