Light and too bitter for my taste. But it is true to style. Clear and great mouth feel.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy light copper. Aroma is fruity and hoppy. Flavor is dominated by hops. Quite bitter for a pilsner in my opinion. Good, but not what I expected from the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle poured into pilsner glass. Beer is clear, bright golden yellow with a white two-finger head that drops down some, but hangs on for the duration. Sticky lacing clings in patches to the glass. Aroma is more assertive than typical pilsners with herbal and citrus hop notes underpinned by bready malt. Taste follows the nose - strong spicy, herbal bitterness with light bread and grainy malt sweetness. Surprisingly medium in body, light and crisp texture, lively carbonation, long bitter finish.

Notes from 2009 -- light yellow in color, small head with good retention. Strong hop arona with sweet scent. Clean, crisp flavor, slightly sweet. Good beer, would like another.

355ml bottle. Golden shade and slightly hazy. Citrussy, soapy, tropical hop aroma. Pretty similar taste. Could be an IPA if not for the lager crispness. Medium body. Nice, clean, refined, but not a showstopper, just a great drinkable pils.

Bottle into footed pilsener. Translucent, pale orange color. Bready malt aroma, grassy hops, hint of floral. Taste is light spice, good hops flavor, bitter finish. Palate is fizzy, but refreshingly so. Very drinkable beer.,

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On the fly from notes from last night.
A: Yellow with hazy clarity. Butter colored quilt of foam atop which grasps for the edges well. Spotty lacing.
S: Floral: jasmine, hibiscus and hints of grain. Nice.
T: Buttery grains and hints of noble hops. Great bitterness on the mid-palate.
M: A little thick for the style IMO. Moderate carb. Barely slick in the finish.
O: Above average, but the mouthfeel and tastes don’t up to the level of greatness I expect in a pils.

Crisp pour on tattoo I’m Gainesville Florida. Prim yellow gold tint with a thin head. Not getting much nose. so hoppy for a pils. Tastes more like a light crisp ipa.

Pours straw colored in glass. Aromas of malt and citrus. Taste follows nose. Full body nice carbonation. A bit to hoppy for my liking.
