Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Flaska genom privatimport. Klar gyllene vätska med vitt skum. Doftar friskt och gott! Älskar verkligen välhumlad pilsner/lager, förädling helt enkelt och här har man lyckats. Mycket bra! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

EBD 9/16/15. Pours a clear golden. Normal head volume and retention, outstanding lacing. Nice, but light, nose of herbal and spicy hops over a mild biscuit with lager yeast. Heavy light body with a smooth texture that has a subtle creamy aspect at times. Perfect carbonation with a nice effervescent burst in the middle and a rollicking prickly finish. The flavor profile is world class. It is intense (hop flavor), somewhat complex and well balanced. It begins with Saaz hop flavor (not as pronounced as Urquel, unfortunately) that flows into a mild bitterness in the middle. As the bitterness asserts itself, a biscuit sweetness arrives to provide a tasty balance. The finish is a bit dry, not quite clean and a nice Saaz hop flavor lingers over a subtle sweetness coupled with a mild bitterness. THIS is what a German pilsner should taste like.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2015 12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Enjoy by date reads "15 Sept 2015"A - Very clean on the nose. Hops lend grassy, lemon notes. Light, sweet malts. Fresh baked bread. Mild honey as the beer warms. A - Beautiful, clear gold with fluffy white head. Little to no lacing. T - Crispy sweet flavors up front (reflective of the nose) perfectly matched by herbal hops. Supreme balance. The meshing of hops and malt creates a near apricot-like flavor. P - Light bodied, dry finish with lingering herbal notes on the pallet. O - Fantastic American take on the German pilsner with a slightly more accentuated hop profile.

Solid easy drinking Pilsner. Stands out but is subtle at same time. Truly a beer craft and BMC drinkers alike can appreciate ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle or two shared with Posey at the creek. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is slight grass and slight floral. Flavor follows and is nice crisp and clean. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12FL OZ ($21 12pack) The first go around with this beer company I got a 2 year expired 12pack and it was weak, but thanks to the great guys at Canoga Park BevMo; they swapped it out and discovered the brewer dropped off that 2 year expired and a 3 year expired. crazy! but after that SnaFu I go to rate this one. very carbonated. great taste and easy going.

Clear golden, low carbonation, medium frothy head. Light caramel banana pine aromas. Quite sweet, probably a bit too much for mine.

Bottle - Clear yellow with no head. Crisp flavor profile with floral hints. Getting hints of pine and grass to it. A decent amount of malt sweetness on this beer and I was hoping for a little more hop bitterness to balance it out. Decent for this style but nothing that blew my doors off.

Pours clear straw with one finger of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is grassy hops, grainy malt. (6/10) Taste is mild sweet, mild to moderate bitter. (7/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp lightly bitter finish. (4/5) As pilsners go, a decent example of the style, albeit somewhat more highly hopped than is typical. Which is of course the reason I consider it a decent example. Crisp, refreshing, and quite drinkable. (14/20)
