Pours hazy yellow with substantial white head. Aroma is characteristic pilsner, with some lemon and yeast on top. Taste is very crisp, dry, with a surprising emphasis on a medium hoppy finish. Totally clean the whole way through and not too light. Nice!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a light head. A lot of suspended residuals in the pour. Very floral bouquet with a dry finish. Overall very tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautiful gold color with quickly subsiding white head. Noble hops evident in the nose - though not aggressive. Flavor is grassy, herbal with a lot of hop flavor and bitterness. This is no wimpy pils.

12 ounce bottle into pilsener glass, best before 3/1/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear golden straw color with a nice 1-2 finger dense white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, floral, grass, cracker, pepper, light pine, and herbal earthiness. Very nice aromas with a good balance of hops and fruity lager esters. Taste of big lemon, orange zest, apple, pear, pepper, pine, floral, grass, cracker, bread, hop earthiness, and floral spiciness. Good amount of earthy herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruits, floral, pepper, grass, cracker, bread, hop earthiness, and floral spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor balance with good complexity; with a very hoppy flavor profile; and nearly zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Pilsner style. Great hoppy flavor balance with good complexity; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering as expected.

Pours a strawy golden and smells strongly off woods and grass. Has a voluminous white head. Bitter sweet taste that lasts and finishes dry and clean. Very good pilsner

12 oz bottle pours a clear golden color with moderate but vanishing white head and good lacing. Aroma is hoppier than expected, but still with the grains and yeast which define the style. Nothing skunky here. Body is light to medium, with light carbonation. Taste is initially sweet with a bitter but perfect finish. Very easily drinkable. I’m not usually a fan of pilseners unless they come from Europe in big cheap bottles, but this one pleases me.

A very tasty brew. Appearance is nice but not fantastic. Aroma is pretty pleasant. Great hoppiness in the taste, almost to bitter pale ale levels. I have loved this beer for years, and I’m happy to say I can now get it locally. Worth the price, and always buy a sixer, not a single.

Definitely the best pilsner I have had. Very clean and crisp with a nice hoppiness.
