UPDATED: APR 7, 2013 Notes from a few weeks ago...Yellow, clear, nice head and laces the cup the whole way down spiced hop character, crisp and refreshing aftertaste that is balanced, mild lemon peel sweetness balanced with spiciness. Big fan of the saazhops and this beer

On tap - now this is a pilsner I can write home about. Good clean palate with the perfect hops vs. malt balance.

It poured a clear medium golden with a small white head that lasted several seconds and then disappeared. It had just a touch of lacing. The smell is sweet with a slight earthiness to it. The taste is sweet and grainy. Some of the earthiness comes through on the sip. The finish is both sweet and earthy. There is a light to medium body with normal sharpness from a pilsener on the tongue. This is an easy drinking pilsener that is worth coming back to.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av gräs och en del citrus. Lätt brödighet. Inte så stram som en tysk pils. En humleprofil som drar mer åt det amerikanska hållet med citruss och tallbarr.

Pours light straw yellow with almost no head and OK lacing. Aroma is grassy with a little sourness, as expected in a lager. Taste was grassy hops, clean and mildly bitter. Goes down clean, very easy drinking, not much of an aftertaste. A great choice if you’re in the mood for a pale lager.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 A fairly good pilsener, which is not usually my favorite style. 12oz bottle. Pours clear gold, with a fairly nice balance.

Draft. Citrus and spicy grass hops with a little caramel and some bready yeast. Meh, this brew is ok. I don’t think it lives up to the hype.

Citrus nose. Good lacing. Floral and slightly bitter taste. Medium hops level. Dry finish
