3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sonicdescent (384) - Donora, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2009
Appearance is great with a huge head that lasts and laces the whole way down. Pours a golden yellow, almost completely clear with active carbonation.
Smells lightly citrusy and piney, very subtle but nice.
Tastes damn good, good to have a real lager once in a while. Not much bitter or bite, just smooth and balanced goodness.
Mouth is thicker than expected but it actually works well here.
I could session the hell out of this beer. Very good stuff.

Light golden colour with okay off white head. Aroma is very hop floral. Flavour has a nice hop bitter balance with malts and something sweet almost stewed is in the background, not sure how to describe it. The body is okay maybe a bit more chewy it could be???

Pours brilliant golden with long lasting white head. Aroma of floral hops and a touch of maltiness. Quite hoppy, satisfying malt backbone. Hops are more present in the finish, for a long lingering dryness. Great pil.

Clear yellow of color with a nice white head. An aroma of hops, grass and sweet malt. A flavor with sweet hints, hops, grass and a bitter finish.

Pale golden in color. Aroma is mainly of malts and hops. Taste is the same, full of hops with some malt in the background. Leaves a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. Another high quality brew from Victory.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 lassem (631) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2009
Bottle 33 cl. from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours with a very classic pilsner glance. Its bright light golden with a nice white head. Spreads a nice aroma of dry hops. When you first stuff your nose down the glass you really get the full hoppy aroma... very nice (Why cant more traditional pilsner have a hoppyness like this...damn) The Saaz is very present and citric notes with some yeasts and malt. The taste is pretty malty with a full body palate. Its long lasting bitter with notes of apricots and plenty of hops. Absolutely a lovely pilsner. Good One.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 EastCoaster (122) - USA - AUG 18, 2009
Ahhh in my mind everything that a pilsner should embody, Light in body but a delicate malty sweetness balanced by a hop spicyness. SAd I only have a six pack of this that will be slowly enjoyed, is it true that a gas station in Maine has better selection than our government controlled liquor stores?
Why yes it is, damn NB LC.
