Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Bottle. Pours hazy light golden, medium white head. Aroma of bread, hay, straw, some hop resin. Taste is light sweet. Medium-light body, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish that was bit off. Just an okay Pils to me.

The aroma this one brings to the table is pretty good, subtle tones of dried flowers, some bread and a slight sweetness. The taste is very crisp, light with a lingering bitterness and a grassy, hoppy finish. Very tasty brew and even if I don’t spontaneously start free-running over roof tops or doing somersaults when I have a pilsener - It’s good - plain and simple.

Pours a yellow gold color with a white head. Grass, floral, light hop and grain aroma. Floral, hop, grass and malt flavor. Very noticeable hap flavor for the style. Light body and average carbonation. Floral and hop finish.

Very clear straw appearance with minimal head and minimal carbonation. Over all found this to be nicely Bready and sweet but at the same time a easily drinkable refreshing beverage.

Pours a clear straw, lots of carbonation feeding a thin bubble head. Very nice, wholesome hops aroma. Very clean and fizzy mouthfeel, friendly hops flavor with a malty follow-through. Slight hops aftertaste with a slight sticky residue.

From Bottledog in London. Pale translucent gold-green with watery white head. Smells of crisp malt - cereal, biscuit and lots of sweet-ish corn. Nose is characteristic for a pils and quite flavourful. Tastes of slight spiced malt, lemon, relatively heavy bitterness, some straw and cereal. Body is light and somewhat frothy but with a little bit of slickness to balance it. A solid pils with plenty of sweet malt and grassy/straw hops.

HKdIPA (429) - HONG KONG - OCT 18, 2014
Bottle from Bottledog in London at home. Clear golden Pilsner pour with dense white frothy head. Aroma is earthy, biscuit, spicy hops - sweeter, fuller Pilsner. Taste is spicy hops, then an unexpected sweet biscuit-y flavor. Clean bitter finish. Not as much hops as I expected but a good Pilsner nonetheless. Sweetness is a surprise, but fills out the palate nicely. Solid pils.

Bottle to Pils glass. Pours clear to cloudy light yellow with thin head. Subtle bread malt aroma. Hoppey taste almost like a Pale Ale. Leaves a dry finish in the mouth.

"a hop forward pils with a nicely balanced boquet of earthy hops and malt. not as clean, but more to it than your average pilsner. a nice summer beer, refreshing. well done. sampled 3/21/09, best by 3/9/09 - must be amazing fresh if it’s this good old. better than the hop devil with the same date."
