Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Pours clear and golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of bready pale malts and floral grassy hops. Tastes clean, sooth, mildly sweet taste of pale malt and well balanced floral hops. Clean, dry finish. Not overly bitter, very well done pils! I could drink a lot of this. A great sessionable beer.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2015 brown bottle poured into a pilsner glass a: Clear golden yellow with fine light to average carbonation. A gentle pour yields a finger of white head that dissipates after about 5 minutes leaving a decent amount of lacing which holds nicely to the glass. Pools of foam also tend to remain on the surface of the beer. s: Nothing sticks out. A little biscuit balanced by a subtle floral hop aroma. t: Again, well balanced with a slight but noticeable hop bite. Smooth maltiness provides a hint of chewiness to the beer. Hops on the finish which is appealing as it lingers however I’m not getting floral as in the nose. Not nearly as hoppy as some have opined and definitely not citrusy. Maybe slightly more piny or herbal. m: Very light body with the bubbles providing a slight tingle. Doesn’t look like much but I kind of like it. I think this works nicely against the malt too, tying the flavor profile together. I would like a bit more more carbonation in this beer. o: Have to say I’m a bit disappointed with Prima especially after reading that it is among the absolute best in the style. Very nice of course but doesn’t really impress me in any way. Certainly nothing bad to report but while interesting, also a little underwhelming though I wouldl buy it again.

Aroma much like hay which is not what I call pleasant but a very smooth light taste that lingers. Good balance of hopes and malts and very refreshing on the palate. A good beer but IMHO not great

Straw-gold with some sediment, thin head. Smell is hoppy, metal, floral. Savory, with some hop/floral character. Good body.

12 oz. bottle from Best Damn Beer Store. Nose of yeast with a hint of hop citrus and florals. Taste of light cracker malt and mild herbal and citrus hops that provide good bitterness. Light bodied. Well balanced. A nice dry finish with just a hint of sustained bitterness. Excellent, refreshing Pilsner.

Bottle (12oz $2): Clear yellow with soapy white head that lasts. Nice hops aroma. I think that this one leans more toward the malts, but it is well balanced with hops.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light amber with a white head that slowly drops to a full cover, long strands of lace. Really nice aroma of malt and citrus. Taste is malt that moves to grow into the palate, but is halted by assertive citrus hops and mild carbonation in the palate. All is not lost; the malt reappears deep in a long finish. A well-balanced and solid thirst quencher. Most excellent.

Pours hazy straw yellow, nice two finger frothy head, awesome lacing and great retention. Aroma of light pine, herbs and straw. Taste is wonderfully balanced sweet malts and clean bitterness. Light to medium bodied, lively carbonation and a creamy mouth feel. Finishes clean with notes of pine, flowering herbs, fresh hay and light citrus. A very nice Pilsner.

Pours straw yellowwith a thick white, long lasting head. Aroma is surprisingly complex with grass, straw, pine, bread and maybe some flowers. Flavour is balanced with a sweetness and crisp clean finish.
