Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

(Bottle) Pours light hazy golden with a white head. The aroma holds a tight cracker-ish malt profile with some doughy undertones (mostly yeast but also some malty undertones). Woodsy, herbal, grassy,hay-like and light floral hop notes. A touch of old grapefruit.I love this brew but the sulfur hints is a slight let down. Quite mineral-driven and a tad to low on the PH-scale.The flavour is dry, medium bitter and light acidic with notes of nobel hops, Tight malt, clean grassy hops and a nice water profile.no fermentation-problems flavour wise. The mouthfeel is tight, mineral-ish, clean and medium carbonated. A tasty brew with some small adjustment potentials.

Look: pours a bright gold. White head. Very clear. Smell: European hops. Yeast. Slight pine. Taste: slight bitterness. Feel: medium carbonation. Very slight film in the mouth, but doesn't have the same dry taste. Overall: ok beer. Good cross between a pilsner and an IPA. Would like to see more west coast flavor but not bad. First drank: home 9/3/14 Served: from a 12 oz. bottle

12 oz. bottle from Supermarket Liquors. Appearance: 3 fingers white head, straw yellow color, clear, head does not last too long. Aroma: fruity, wheat, earth leaves and yeast, floral. Palate: light body, average carbonation, light bitter finish, thin texture, crisp. Taste: Light fruity sweetness into a medium bitterness that lasts for a couple of seconds. Overall, very unique for style, drinkable and refreshing, and maybe a new favorite for the style.

Pale yellow beer with a bitter fruit aroma. Taste is light and bitter with a touch of citrus coming through. Palate is slightly watery and it is slightly bland but it’s very drinkable.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small capped white head. Crisp grassy aroma with grainy pilsner malt and a touch of honey sweetness. Taste is crisp and clean with grassy, floral, and spicy hops and a moderate bitterness that is coupled with the pilsner graininess and a touch of honey sweetness and some light breadiness. Crisp mouthfeel with balanced carbonation and light to medium body. Very dry finish.

Bottle @ BBB. Pours tiny hazy golden with a frothy white head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is subtle, tiny malty and floral with biscuits, dried flowers, hay, lemon peal and hints of sweet corn. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and floral with biscuits, bread, hay, lemon zest and hints of soil and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter, tiny malty and floral with bread, buttered biscuits, grass, lemon balm, soil and lemon zest. Tasty hoppy pilsener!

Standard medium bitter pilsner. Relatively low on both aromas and flavors and not perfectly crisp. Good but nowhere near its reputation.

Bottle, 2 months old. Pours a very clear straw with some life. Cereal grains and Euro hops on the nose. Taste is clean, crisp, bitter and dry. My first favorite Pils from way back and still a go-to summer beer for me.
