Can’t say enough about this beer. New to trying new beers. So far this is by far one of my favorites that I have tried in my young beer rating career.

12oz bottle. Enjoy by date on neck in fine print. This bottle is 3 weeks past the date. Great head retention for a Pilsner. Has powerful hop aroma. It pours clean and golden, and well carbonated, with a decent white head. It smells of traditional pale malt and some floral notes added, with an abundance of hops. It goes down easily, with the hops expressing themselves early, and the light smooth Pils malts dominating on the back-end. A great Pilsner, especially from an IPA lover.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, fruchtig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende fruchtig Bitterkeit.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2014 I have never tasted a Pilsener like this one. Very bitter for the style of beer, its more like an IPA really. I usually avoid Pilsner beers as much as possible but this one I would actually buy and enjoy!!

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body is clear and sparkling with a golden hue. The head is short and firm with a soft appearance and great retention. The head is light tan.
Aroma: The aroma is hop forward, sort of yellow gummy bear reminiscent with a slight harsh perfume edge to it. The malts are soft and out of the way, just a hint of sweetness.
Taste: This skews bitter and floral with a slightly sweet malt intro that gives way to the firm bitterness. The back end is dry and floral, lingering floral for a bit.
Palate: Full-bodied with soft to moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is a good pilsener, but I’m still not fully in love with the style. I also find there to be a slight harshness on the aroma I don’t enjoy very much. Overall this is a finely crafted pilsener though.

Flowery, herbal, citrusy aroma. Reminds me of tarragon or cardamom. Chamomile, also? Hard to pin down. Very unique. Dry taste but not astringent. Not a huge fan of pilsners, but this I could drink anytime.

Reminds me of American Dream with a slightly more refined hop-touch. Well worth the try.
