COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2012 Update: had on tap at victory brewing and I can say is wow. Fresh prima pils is the best beer i have ever had. a: nice straw yellow color, foamy head s: hoppy with floral notes t: clean with floral notes and grain. The hops do not over power the beer but provide a nice bitterness. m&d: medium body, with decent carbonation. Very refressing beer and extremely drinkable

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Clear bright gold with a hearty white head that has a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is really malty, nutty, and a bit of straw. Taste is malty sweet balanced out by a sharp hop bitterness that sticks around. Simple and to the point. Would pair great with some pretzels.

Bottle at Sybarite Pig. Tulip. Pours a dark yellow nearly gold with light haze. One finger white head. Smell of citrus, grass, and alfalfa. Taste is grass, citrus lemon, slight sour yeasts and bitter hops. Balance is decent tipping toward almost too bitter for the style. But good overall.

A - Pours a clear pale gold with a 1 finger white head. Minimal lacing, average retention. S - Spicy noble hops, sulfur lager yeast, lemon bread. T - Loads of crisp grassy hops, juicy orange peel, sweet and grainy pale malt, lemon, spicy grass comes through strong on the finish. M - Medium body, moderate soft carbonation, clean and dry. Aggressive hop profile, very clean flavors, an excellent Pilsener. Serving type: bottle 05-29-2011

Good light hoppy aroma. Clear yellow pour with medium white head. Taste is a little more bitter than I’d like for a pilsner. Good (light) mouthfeel for the style.

Bottle from Metropolitan Diner in North Wales, PA. Did not expect this beer to be as hoppy as it was, and now I regret overlooking it over and over again. Very drinkable.

Pale yellow with light carbination. White foam head. Flowery hop aroma with a bready malt aroma. Taste is well balanced with the flowery hops and malt. Crisp, bitter finish. A very good example of a German pils.

Faint scents of malt, pine cone and green car air freshener. Appearance is lackluster.. weak urine color with hardly any carbonation. Beer is quite hoppy, especially for a Pils. Bitter, but a little flat. It’s not bad.

Victory Prima Pils has a thick, off-white head and a hazy, brilliant, yellow appearance (like a glow stick), with a bit of lacing and lots of bubble streams. The aroma is of sweet, lemony malt, some sweetness, and an off, wall paper glue scent. Taste is the same, with lots of bitterness and that unpleasant glue note. I’m also picking up aspirin. Mouthfeel is medium, and Victory Prima Pils finishes mostly dry, citrusy, and off-kilter. Maybe I got some of a bad batch, but I can only say that it is acceptably good, and that’s being generous. Well, one can’t say it’s not interesting. RJT
