4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: APR 25, 2012 Update: had on tap at victory brewing and I can say is wow. Fresh prima pils is the best beer i have ever had.
a: nice straw yellow color, foamy head
s: hoppy with floral notes
t: clean with floral notes and grain. The hops do not over power the beer but provide a nice bitterness.
m&d: medium body, with decent carbonation. Very refressing beer and extremely drinkable

Draft pour. Very light pour with cloudy head. Not much of a pilsner fan but I have had worse. Strong aroma. Light flavor with a bitter finish. Not bad, but not really for me

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle poured to glass. Very light yellow with a big white head with mostly big bubbles. The appearance is deceiving be aide the smell is strong hops, astringent, artichokes. The flavor brings more of the same with little malt flavor that tastes like pasta. The hops keep evolving though. It's gotta have the IBUs of an IPA but it works on this light beer.

Can’t say enough about this beer. New to trying new beers. So far this is by far one of my favorites that I have tried in my young beer rating career.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle. Enjoy by date on neck in fine print. This bottle is 3 weeks past the date. Great head retention for a Pilsner. Has powerful hop aroma. It pours clean and golden, and well carbonated, with a decent white head. It smells of traditional pale malt and some floral notes added, with an abundance of hops. It goes down easily, with the hops expressing themselves early, and the light smooth Pils malts dominating on the back-end. A great Pilsner, especially from an IPA lover.

I have never tasted a Pilsener like this one. Very bitter for the style of beer. I usually avoid Pilsner beers as much as possible but this one I would actually buy and enjoy!!

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body is clear and sparkling with a golden hue. The head is short and firm with a soft appearance and great retention. The head is light tan.
Aroma: The aroma is hop forward, sort of yellow gummy bear reminiscent with a slight harsh perfume edge to it. The malts are soft and out of the way, just a hint of sweetness.
Taste: This skews bitter and floral with a slightly sweet malt intro that gives way to the firm bitterness. The back end is dry and floral, lingering floral for a bit.
Palate: Full-bodied with soft to moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is a good pilsener, but I’m still not fully in love with the style. I also find there to be a slight harshness on the aroma I don’t enjoy very much. Overall this is a finely crafted pilsener though.
