COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2011 Poured a clear golden color with a small tight white head. Hoppy earthy aroma, including hints of lemon as well. Smooth hops balanced nicely by malt, very refreshing.

Draught at Churchkey. Very light body, well balanced, but overall an uninteresting and rather ordinary beer.

Thanks to Darkover for the trade. This is one of the better Pilseners I have tried (along with Schell), and leads me to wonder why so many other ones are so bland and tiresome. The beer is a lightly cloudy pale gold color with medium white head that lingered quite awhile. Lots of small bubbles and thin lacing. The aroma is zesty hops. Light-bodied and crisp with a peppery hops flavor throughout. Some malt is evident as well. The finish is dry and hoppy. The Pils style is nowhere near my favorite but I can see this beer being the standard by which to measure others.

A bit soapy aroma. Low head, straw golden. Flavor is a pleasant hop composition based on citrussy notes. Lightish.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2007 Very clear golden beer with a floral nose. This is shockingly great flowery, hoppy wonderful light lager; for all the "yellow beer haters" ... this beer is as big and flavorful as all the American IPAs, but comes in the guise of a pilsner. Drink it. Love it. Touchdown!

Herbal, leafy tobacco and grainy malts in the nose. Clear pale gold with thin but lasting cover of bright white head. Floral, spicy hop flavour with fair bitterness and an apparent cereal malt base. Light, refreshing body with fair carbonation. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005.
