COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2006 Draught. Clear golden color. Hint of hops in the nose. Sprucy with a nice grainy aftertaste. Moderately carbonated. Crisp finish. Decent pilsner.

From bottle@Københavnske Øldage 2009. A mostly diminishing, shiny white head upon a very pale, yellow colored body. Superfresh and fruity hop aroma. Also some floral and grassy notes and a whiff of dry, grainy malts. A dry and crisp malt body backed by some well prononced fruity and grassy hops. Crisp and vivid mouthfeel. A fine bitterness lingers in a long finish. An excellent Pilsener!

Bottled. Big citrus hop aroma, with little to no malt character coming through. Huge hop flavor: lemony, then grassy and peppery, then huge bitterness that lasts forever. It starts off quite sweet as well, though not malty, something like lemonade. An impressive showcase for hops, to be sure, but overall, a bit unpleasantly bitter. Very light, soapy body. Interesting and tasty, but too much.

Fizzy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet corn and grain. Sweet corn flavor with some grass and light hops.

Doesn’t really smell the best, but other than that this is pretty darn good. A nice light, crisp flavor with a light amount of dry hops at the end. Great stuff.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2009 The aroma is hoppy with corn malt. The appearance is milky white gold with a thin head. The flavor is sweet with grassy and herbal hops. There malt is corn like but not too much. The palate is thin. This beer fails somewhere between average and pretty good.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2009 330 mL. Pours a clear pale yellow with a very nice two-finger off-white head that is thick and frothy and has good retention. Leaves very good lacing. Aroma of lemongrass, grain, corn, and a nice punch of Saaz hops. Taste is medium-bodied with biscuity malt and lots of bittering hops that creates almost a metallic taste but is not unpleasant. Creamy to metallic mouthfeel. Sort of spicy, bitter aftertaste. Good rendition of the Czech style. 3.4

Re-Rate: This is a fantastic session beer. Amazing lacing, huge Saaz bite without being too soapy. Just really good. 4

12oz bottle drank from my Rodenbach Grand Cru glass... A medium clear dark gold, a nice bright finger cap, great sticky lacing. Could be a touch clearer but looks fine... The aroma is quite pleasant, tons of sweet grain, floral, spice, lemon, bitter finish. Very solid... The taste is zesty lemons, grain, and floral notes. The finish is very bitter and biting, so much flavor. Not a style I enjoy but this hits home closest to the major Euro versions.
