Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps oí hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jacksonís 500 Classic Brews

A very good pilsener. A prime example of how a lighter style doesnít need to be flavorless. HOORAH!!

generally, i don't like pils beers at all, but this one i did. hoppy (of course, coming from victory), a little bit bitter, but light enough that you can drink it all night. a beer i enjoyed a great deal.

For a pilsner, this destroys the myth that only the Germans and their Eastern European cousins understand this often complex style of beer. Thick and rich palate. Crisp clean flavor and not overly hopped like many American brewers lean toward. Delicious golden color. It screams for a warm spring or summer day. For pilseners, this is one of the best. Not a hint of skunk!

Great pils. Nice golden color, with hoppy aroma. Initial taste is slightly skunked, but that fades into a crisp taste of malt and hops.

Pours a light golden yellow. Body is light with a light mouthfeel. The skunky hop content is quite a bit of a surprise. One of the better light beers around.

Smells of light bitterness with sweet backgrounds. Moderate carbonation with quickly retreating head. Color of sunlight gold. Tastes of hay, and honey. Slight bitterness throughout. Sticky palate yet very refreshing middle and finish. Aftertaste of sweet malt and bitter hops. Great for camping.

Clear golden color shows off the bubbles nicely. Small white head fades quickly to just a small slick of foam. Smells beery, by which I mean a little hops and a light malt smell without abything jumping out - smells cold, too, if thatís possible. Tastes reminiscent of German pilsener, but maybe a lttle fruitier, probably because itís fresher. I like it, itís refreshing and although it obviously has less flavor than the bigger styles that seem to dominate craft brewing today, the flavor it does have is clean, well balanced, with enough hop bite to make it interesting. None of the wierd sweetness that a lot of macro lagers have. Makes you wonder if American macro and regional lagers used to taste like this. Iíll stock my fridge with this for guests who just want a ínormalí beer, and I suspect Iíll down a few of these with burgers and dogs at my next cookout.

Pours yellow and slightly hazy with big white head. Aroma is very nice and clean, crisp floral and citrus. Flavor hits you right away with a lot of bitter but clean herbal hops...a bit more bitter than I expected. But it does leave a nice clean aftertaste with a touch of subtle sweet malt. I began to enjoy it more towards the end of the glass. Very refreshing, but a touch too bitter, otherwise very nice.
