Pours light gold with not much head. Aroma is light and crisp. Flavor reminds me of apple. An excellent summer beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Man, this smells nice and refreshing. bready , pilsner malt smell. subtle hint of flowery hops.
straw/gold. bubbly, small head.
bready taste up front, balanced with some bitter hops at the end. a little stickier than i would like a pils.
not a wow beer, but definately a great pilsner.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On Tap at the Father’s Office, Culver City. Aroma: fresh cut grass and fresh earthy hops. Pours clear golden with small white head, good head retention for a pils. Flavor: begins mellow and untraceable then becomes nicely spicy and hoppy. Finishes with a surprising roasted malt character in the throat. medium-light to light body. Very drinkable! I’ll admit it, I’m biased to Ales. But, this Pilsener is a revelation! A very enjoyable and hoppy Lager!! Nice for the warmer spring and summer months.

12 oz bottle. I’m not a pilsner fan but I thought this one may be able to convert me. It didn’t. Poured a light yellow with a strong white head -- not far from a cheap American macro in appearance. Taste was slightly better than the average pilsner, but not much. Grassy taste, but not a whole lot going on here. Not my thing.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. Pours a classic yellow with lively head. Bready aroma with assertive earthy hop flavors. Dry finish. Extra points for a well-brewed beer.

"Crisp, clean, carbonated. all good qualities in a pilsner. Grassy, hoppy, dry, slightly bitter. other good qualities. This lacks that overwhelming skunky taste in most pilsners, but there is definitely something funky going on, just in the backround. This is a great starter pilsner. I actually prefer this to classics like pilsner urquell. **UPDATE** the more i drink this, the more i like

I dig the cloudiness compared to other pilsners. Definitely the best pilsner I’ve had. Not skunked out. Has a lemony flavor. Good all around.
