Think I got a bad sixer of this stuff. I just didn’t like it a whole lot. Giving Victory the well deserved benefit of the doubt, I’ve rated high (Yeah I know it doesn’t seem that way but what I got out of the bottle seemed like a macro holland import). I’ll have to re-review this later.
Light golden in color with a nice creamy white head. Sweet hoppyness in the nose bit of mown grass as well. Lots of dry hop flavor with a bit of cardboard taste in the background. Bit of veggie flavor in there also as well as a tartness that runs around the tongue.

This is a very good pilsner...clean and crisp. Nice golden color with lots and lots of hops!! Yet again another wonderfully crafted beer from Victory! Keep the Victory beers coming!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy deep gold with a quick dissipating head.
Smells...mmmh hoppy, saaz hops all over the place with lemon and white grapes.
Taste is crisp dry saaz hops and lemon. Great crisp, dry finish.
Body is near perfect per style and quite refreshing. This a a brew I hold up as an example to macro-swillers that Americans actually make better lagers than the "king of beers", seriously, they need convincing sometimes.
Drinkability is great and the flavor never dissapoints. This along with Hacker-Pschorr Hefe are my official lunch brews.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Grass-pine hops (brown glass stops the skunk again!). Brilliant straw-yellow with little or no head. Almost no lacing either. Classic pils hops bitterness up front with just the slightest hint of malt sweetness underneath. Sweetness becomes more pronounced as it warms. Mouthfeel is flat due to low carbonation, but has enough malt foundation to be satisfying. Dry and bitter finish. Appearance is the only loser here. Otherwise, everything a pilsener should be: Sharp, clean and refreshing. Definitely would drink again.

Pours light gold with not much head. Aroma is light and crisp. Flavor reminds me of apple. An excellent summer beer.

Man, this smells nice and refreshing. bready , pilsner malt smell. subtle hint of flowery hops.
straw/gold. bubbly, small head.
bready taste up front, balanced with some bitter hops at the end. a little stickier than i would like a pils.
not a wow beer, but definately a great pilsner.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On Tap at the Father’s Office, Culver City. Aroma: fresh cut grass and fresh earthy hops. Pours clear golden with small white head, good head retention for a pils. Flavor: begins mellow and untraceable then becomes nicely spicy and hoppy. Finishes with a surprising roasted malt character in the throat. medium-light to light body. Very drinkable! I’ll admit it, I’m biased to Ales. But, this Pilsener is a revelation! A very enjoyable and hoppy Lager!! Nice for the warmer spring and summer months.
