COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2011 On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. Very lively pilsener, heavier on the hops than some versions of the style. Golden and quite effervescent, this one is popping right from the start - and the floral hops slowly emerge from the overall dryness. Excellent session brew.

Pale golden yellow with a thin white foam. Huge grassy, hay, light malt aroma. Taste is bready, yeasty, clean grassiness. Solid pils.

This beer is hops throughout. Both aroma and flavor are loaded with them. There is some fruit in the aroma and some bitterness in the flavor as well. It is pretty much a rock solid pilsner but probably got points deducted for being one. That is not one of my favorite styles.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2007 Pours a light gold color with small fizzy white head. Citrus, hoppy, and somewhat skunky aroma. Flavors of herbal grains, hops, and citrus. Very easy to drink. I tasty pilsener.

bottle from ucusty...BB 10/15/07. pale gold/straw colored with a wispy white head. light malt aroma with some yeast, alcohol, citrusy hops and aluminum sheeting. creamy mouth feel. flavor is all of the aforementioned. ’lager’ qualities w/o typical corn or skunk. leaves no unpleasant aftertaste. very clean, nice all around.

Clear pale yellow gold body with lasting head. A little bread and then a little spice in the aroma. Crisp and dry in taste, hops are more noticeable and quite drinkable.

I’m not a big pilsener drinker, but this one is excellent. Great color & flavor. Victory beer is hard to find here in So. Calif, but this one (along w/ all their others) is worth seeking out.
