COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

I’m not a big pilsener drinker, but this one is excellent. Great color & flavor. Victory beer is hard to find here in So. Calif, but this one (along w/ all their others) is worth seeking out.

Pours yellow, more substantial than usually from the style. The head is medium thin and white. The aroma was sharp hop, very mild basement, some sweetness, good for the style. The flavor was a bit waxy hoppy, sharp bitterness, and mild grassy basement. The palate is bitter and a tad crispy.

Pours a fairly clear gold; head was white, medium in size. Aroma is a little bit yeasty, earthy, some mild spice, and light hops. Refreshing, earthy flavor. Hops dominate the flavor; some light breadiness. Dry finish. Very good for style.

Spicy fruity hop aroma, very belgian-like, over a perfect yellow shining body and a small bubble white head. Taste has lots of fruity belgian spice, a floral hop finish, great balance, and crisp finish. Great pils.

Way over the top with the Saaz taste and aroma. A little extreme, but I’m not a pilsener fan to begin with.

12 oz brown bottle. Pop lid for a musty yeast arome, in a good way. Pours like any other common pale yellow american beer. has a shallow froth on top. Initially the flavor is fruity hoppy. Not real bitter hoppy. Taste is much better than the label indicates. As you drink, the bitterness in the finish begins to build. Good creamy micro bubble palate. Pretty enjoyable, except for that medium hoppy kick. It leaves you bitter for a few moments after the last sip. Rather enjoyable for a hoppy brew but less enjoyable than a well behaved gentleman’s lager. Not as good as Bavik, but OK. Right along side of Schell and Urquell.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2008 [bottle] Pours a very pale yellow with a thick and lasting white head. Aroma is a mix of citrus and a lot of hops. Initial taste is a light mix of malt and citrus with a strong hop followup and a slightly spicy finish.

Pours yellow with a small head and moderate carbonation. Aroma has clean malts and light spicy hops. The beer is very light and crisp with a nice amount of carbonation. There are clean refreshing malts first and then a nice floral hop finish. An overall refreshing beer that is also high on flavor. Too bad more pils aren’t like this - very nice beer.
