COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

12oz bottle received in a trade with pjk33 - Thanks Pat! - Pours a beautiful deep golden color with a nice 1/2 inch white foamy head and a load of carbonation bubbles rising to the top throughout. Absolutely beautiful to look at.. Aroma is of a grassy meadow a touch of alfalfa and some light grains. Flavor is quite hoppy for a pilsner. Very grassy and natural tasting. Some light grains, a little dough, a bit o honey, and a touch of citrus at the end before the nice dry finish. On the palate this is crisp and clean and a real thirst quencher. I’m not usually a big fan of this style but this one is tasty.. This is the best pilsener I’ve tried and would be a regular summer beer for me if it was sold here in Ohio. Outstanding..

although the favorite amoing the pilseners i have tried thus far, i cant get over that lack of malt presence. very complex flavor makes this much more fun to drink. victory is your name, beer is your game and you are far from lame

A clear golden beer fills the glass under a dense white head. Hops meet the nose while preparinf the tongue for the well balanced sweet/bitter brew with the hoppy finish. Light, dry, and lively this is a refreshing Pilsner.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2008 Bought this in a Victory Variety pack. Not a big fan of this hoppy pilsener. However, despite the bitterness and hops it is drinkable. Had this again, smelled very funny, tasted even funnier.

Pale straw color out of the bottle with a fizzy white head. Great nose of light citrus and strong hops. Very clean and crisp taste. Lots of hops with pine and mown grass flavors with some orange citrus. Some toast and dough. Very easy to drink. I’ve had old bottles before and didn’t even rate them, but this bottle was several months shy of the best before date and was very tastey.

Golden Coloring. Good Head. Hops all around. Bitterness. May want to try again for re-rating...but for a Pils, very good.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2009 12oz bottle. Light gold color with a very slight haze and a head with rather large bubbles. Strong earthy, spicy hops, and distinct bread crust in the aroma. The hops dominate the flavor profile, with a very light honey sweetness and bread flavor from the malt. Finishes dry and bitter with plenty of earthy, spicy hops. Light bodied with carbonation on the loose side. Seems in the german vein, with the lean malt and bitterness, and I tend to like that style of pilsener a bit less than the more balanced czech style; regardless, this had great hopping and would be a prima go-to beer in warm weather.

Pour is light bright yellow with a nice tight bubbled lasting white head...smell is strongly hoppy and grassy...light citrus notes too...taste is crisp and malty up front turning slightly bitter and quite dry in the finish...slight notes of skunk are in there still...very nice...
