COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.
One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a very clar yellow with moderate white head and light lacing.Nose of grassy and floral hops. Smooth clean mouthfeel. Flavor is bitter and so is the finish. A very nice pils.

12oz bottle. I think this is my favorite American Pils. Transparent deep yellow color with an almost green tint to it. Deliciously crisp and surprisingly hoppy for a Pilsener. Creamy yeast still manages to shine through and compliment the initial bitterness. Excellent as a slow sipper or a session ale. Classic.

Pours slightly hazy yellow, nice fluffy white head. Aroma has nice notes of grass, some pine, even floral hops, leading into some nice sweet bread and pils malt. Taste is floral, piney, and some bitter grass, even a touch of lemon, some sweet biscuity bread, and a bitter, dry and clean finish. Great example of the style.

Pours a nice gold color. Nice malty aroma. Flavor is nice and hoppy with some malts coming through. A very nice Pils. Probably the best this side of the Atlantic.

Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow with a pillow of white head. The aroma is some fruits, some grass, and sugar. The flavor is some hoppy fruits, some grain. Some crackers and yeast come next, and then a medium-dry finish. Pretty refreshing.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours a light straw color with a small diminishing head. Aroma of sourness and some earthy hay mustiness. Some peppery notes with some sweet maltiness up front, and finishes with a hint of bitterness. Not a bad beer overall, and a really good beer for the style.

Vac (2420) - Capistrano Beach, California, USA - MAR 11, 2003
Pours with a deep golden body topped by a medium thick white lasting head with a good amount of lace left on the glass. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour with grassy hop note and a touch of malt. Bitter slightly sweet flavor with grassy hop notes and a strong bitter finish. Dry and light bodied.
