Draught at The White Horse on Parsons Green (London), pours a clear lightish gold. A good malty palate, only a little grainy and quite floral.

Bottla at home. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a white head and a little lacings. Dry and quite bitter. Aromas grass, straw and hops. Medium to light bodied. Medium carbonation. Nice with the high bitterness and the relatively light body. Long crispy dry finish. Good.

I really enjoy this one for what its worth. The hops in this are grassy. The malts and somewhat secondary and it a real lively carbonation fizz.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 gunnar (2279) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2011

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rederic (2269) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 1, 2009
12oz bottle, clean yellow color, with a pillowy white head, fresh cut herbal, floral hop saaz nose, with a leafy, grassy bouquet of hoppiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp sweet light honeyed pale, pilsener malt, flowery hop, leafy character, with an earthy peppery saaz hoppy accent, and a hint of zesty, citrusy, lime, lemon peel, leading towards a grassy, leafy hop bitterness finish.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Pigfoot (2266) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2004
Huge, lacey, white head, sparkling foam.
Aroma has citrus notes, lemon zest, flowers, and pineapple.
Delightfully light texture, long, welcome finish. Truly this must be the thinking man's "lawnmower beer". Possesses a certain zing that reminds me somehow of Duvel. I'm normally an ale man, but I would never pass up on
this pilsner. Are the fine folks of Downington, PA aware that among their modest ranks walk these brewing gods disguised as mortals?
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 17thfloor (2265) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2008 Pours clear yellow with medium white foamy/sudsy head that sticks all over the glass. Strong hop aroma with some nice sweet doughiness. Sweet, bitter, hoppy and doughy and extremely drinkable! Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Carbonation is perfect for this type of pilsner, accents the cleanness. Incredible balance.
4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 illinismitty (2239) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 7, 2006
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2009 Bottle thanks to Kramer17801. I have had this at the brewery, but have never rated it. Pours light gold, with diminishing white head. Aroma is malty, herbal, with some notes of hay. Texture is medium light with average carbonation. Great sweet malt and pilsner flavor, balanced by some aggressive Euro hop characteristics. Finish is crisp and thirst quenching. A great american pilsner, coming from someone who does not drink them on a regular basis
