Ends on a light bitter and flowery note. This might be a really good beer when fresh, but this is a little too old. Thanks Springslicker for trading. Rerated at a blindtasting by Papsoe 19th. UPDATED: JUN 3, 2003 This beer rocks!
I'm not a huge fan of pilseners, but this is a damn good beer. The nose is spicey, buttery and slightly floral...with a hint of honey. A sharp, well-hopped beer with a very crisp, dry finish. A hint of clover honey at the wee end. As I stated, not my favorite style, but a damn nice effort nonetheless!

Oily palate. Standard pilsner, how it can get so high ratings I dont understand. Maybee its because it doesnt have so many ratings....

Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Yellow gold with white head. Very impressive Pilsener, there is a good solid initial maltiness, not grainy but nice and biscuity, sharp, then the main show is plenty of lemony, citric hops, quite oily butflavoursome. Lots of bitterness, surprisingly so in this type of beer. Really pretty enjoyable, i’d love to try it on a hot summers evening, but we don’t get many of them.
