COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Aroma of grassy hop supported by a light malt. Pale golden color with a frothy white head that leaves shards of lacing. Slightly less than medium bodied, something of a floral and fruit hop, and the malt tends to be dominated by the hop. The finish is relatively dry and the bitter is moderate. Not quite my concept of a pilsener (floral?), but generally in line with the style. It is a mouth pleaser. It is just excellent with string cheese!

(35.5cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a persistent foamy white head of medium size. Very aromatic and fresh citrus-fruity, flowery, zesty and spicy hoppy aroma with a slightly sweet malty background. Bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth well-carbonated mouthfeel. Starts dry and like a Tsunami of aromatic and bitter hops on a soft malty base; very dry and almost harsh hoppy finish with a long bitter tail. A somewhat extreme but quaffable hop-bomb (08.VIII.09).

A Mes rate. Bottle drank with Kenny and Mike.
Clean pale yellow with a good white head. Perfect pils aroma. Straight forward but excellent. The flavour is not a patch on the nose but it’s lovely and dry and very drinkable however. The palate and delivery is just right. It’s just a very very good pils.

courtesy of Allen - At last, I have been able to put my hands and my nose on this old classic; slightly hazy golden-yellow colour; little white foam; dusty and very hoppy nose with notes of flowers, citrus, apple and grapefruit; good malt body and with a juicy palate, solidly bitter; quite dry and long bitter fruity and flowery finish - tasty and with a lot of character: a fantastic brew

UPDATED: APR 25, 2010 On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso, Washington DC, 6 March 2010. Attractive clear gold colour. Moderate white head. Biscuity malt aroma. Not too bready. Good balance of grassy hops and light toasted malt on the palate. Some lasting bitterness. Very refreshing and crisp.

Bottle: Clear, pale golden with a greenish sheen, quite stable white lacy head; very solid aromatic piney hoppy nose with some shy pale-malty support; full dry bitter flavour, soft and light bodied; dry - very hoppy - bitter finish. Good hoppy stuff, but lacks the presence of a malty body, that is necessary to become an excellent Pils..........

Poured a light yelllow with a large head. Aromas of grass and straw. Hoppy bitter finish. Thin and light. If Pilsners are your style, give this a try.

Draft at two eastside Cincy locations. Clear amber color with a medium white head that diminshed slowly. Well balanced aroma. Medium body. Well balanced flavor with a solid pilsner finish. Very good pilsner draft.
