Heaps oí hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jacksonís 500 Classic Brews

This beer is very drinkable and refreshing. Itís something Iíd drink again. You can drink it with food Ė like a spicier dish perhaps or anything as heavy as chicken, really Ė or you could also enjoy this beer on its own. With this beer, what you smell is what you get. It meets expectations and is a good representative of a hoppy pilsner beer. Prima Pils is balanced enough that itís non-offensive, but what makes this beer so complex is the way multiple types of hops come together. There are definitely several distinctive flavors here -- grapefruit, pine needles and bitter earthy soil -- which I found very interesting indeed.

Pours a very pale or light straw color. Very nice tall, but not too thick white head. Some retention but nice lacing. Clear, but not super carbonated.

Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrusy earthy. Itís also very bready. This smells super.

Taste is hoppy and even a little buttery. Slightly nutty and earthy. A little herby, and spicy. Itís pretty complex for such a light beer.

Mouthfeel is surprisingly light. Very smooth, clean, crisp and dry. Finishes bitter and slightly sour.

Overall, this is really good. Itís well done and tastes great also. I think Iíll go grab another one!

Yellow colour, white head, aroma of lager yeast, malts, lemon, dough. Taste is very well balanced, light sweet and slightly bitter. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation.

First tried this at Barcade in Brooklyn about 8 years ago. Have always rated it very highly for a pils. Got hold of some bottles from Beer Cartel here in Australia. Pretty sharp hop hit but a very drinkable brew. Slight head with minimal lacing. Aroma is mild considering the taste. Could use a touch more carbonation I feel. Enjoy this as cold as possible. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Prague-CZ at the Beergeek pub with Mowbeer. Pours a golden clear color with a white adhesive head. Nose: lavender-jasmine flowers, melon, summer fruit. Mouth: frizzy palate and finish, malty character, small hops presence but well-done.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2015 On tap in LA. I?m not a pilsner fan but this really impressed me. Fresh crisp pilsner, lots of noble hop aroma, clean, refreshing, delicious. Best pilsner I?ve had for sure. 4.0 // had on tap again a few days later. Good but not like the other glass. Hops were a bit grassy and seemed less crisp. 3.7

Pours a clear orangish yellow in color with a thin white head. Slight citrus aroma. The taste is a little citrus and hops with some malts and a faint coffee flavor. Not bad but average at best.

Sweetly hopped aroma, grassy notes. A beautiful, frothy but quickly dissipating off-white head over pale gold. Wonderful mouthfeel with the correct level of effervescence. Nice marriage of esters, sweetness and hops...great take on the style.
