alobar (630), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 14, 2008 Straw yellow color with no head. Aroma of yeast, malts and some hops. Balanced taste of yeast, malts and hops. No bitter edge, but has a dry finish. Refreshing beer.
robinvboyer (1006), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Sep 7, 2008 crystal clear bright golden pour. aroma of bready malt, and some slightly skunky hops. Flavour is sharp, and the hops add a slight soapiness, along with a touch of sour apple. and it finishes with a bready malty aftertaste. Interesting pils, maybe a little past its date, but still nice, but not my favorite, i think its a little over hyped. Pawola22 (76), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Sep 7, 2008 Pours a very clear, see through bright, light yellow with a big, frothy white head that lingers for several minutes and remains very lacy. A nice look to this pils. Smells of sweet and spicy German malts with a good amount of hoppiness. Grassy and citrus. Nice to smell a pils with some life. Lots of grassy taste to this and quite bitter. Sweet and malty throughout as well as spicy. A sharp citrusy/grassy hop bitterness kicks in about half way through and lingers way past the end. Excellent balance. Overall, a great take on the style. The added hops make this truly enjoyable and easily my favorite pils. timsilvia32 (206), born in Michigan, North Carolina, USA Sep 6, 2008 Golden pour white foamy head. Slight hops pine, citrus aromas. Very surprised by the malt in this one, complimented with nice grassy body. Not overly carbonated with just enough body. Very clean and bitey at the finish. One of the best pilseners I’ve had to date. laguerita (73), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 6, 2008 Light yellow pour with a light frothy white head. Lots of grassy aromas reflected in the flavor with some good bitterness. decent overall Pershing (83), Garland, Texas, USA Sep 5, 2008 Light yellow with a small white head that diminishes. Nice hop aroma and bitterness. Quality ingredients make this an excellent pilsner.
