12oz bottle poured into pilsner glass. Beer is clear, bright golden yellow with a white two-finger head that drops down some, but hangs on for the duration. Sticky lacing clings in patches to the glass. Aroma is more assertive than typical pilsners with herbal and citrus hop notes underpinned by bready malt. Taste follows the nose - strong spicy, herbal bitterness with light bread and grainy malt sweetness. Surprisingly medium in body, light and crisp texture, lively carbonation, long bitter finish.

In bottiglia. Aroma di cereale, miele millefiori, erbaceo un pÚ ruvido. Al palato corpo leggero, sentori di miele ed erbaceo, un pÚ terroso. Non molto fine come aromi, comunque godibile.

Excellent clean and easy drinking pilsner. Great spring/summer beer. One of the better pilsners Iíve tried.

12oz bottle. 6/15/15 code date. Appearance: Light golden and probably the clearest beer Iíve ever seen. Nice thick white frothy head that lingers. Aroma: Floral, grassy hop notes on a light crackery malt base. Taste: Light crackery malt sweetness, with a subtle but strong hop bitterness to balance. Slight spiciness to the hops. Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate, crisp carbonation. Finish: Spicy and herbal hop bitterness lingers. Overall: Beautiful looking pilsner with nice floral and spicy hop characteristics. Maybe slightly subdued bitterness for a German Pils

355mL bottle BB 31/10/2015 Clean golden body, foamy white head. Pleasant enough aroma; honeyed, lightly toasted, corny malts, subtle floral hops. Medium carbonation & body, quite crisp. Corny malts, light biscuity character, floral hops, a hint of citrus, decent bitterness for style. Nice enough, quite a traditional example - not really outstanding though.

Pours light golden yellow from bottle, minimal white head. Malty, rather clean aroma. Tasty pils malt, slides nicely into the bitter, with slightly oily finish. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Great pilsner, went down fast. Would easily drink again. Wife loves it.

Bright and characterized by a stable and white foam. Hoppy and citrucy aroma. Dry and refreshing. Good american pils!

Overall decent and to great extent quintessential pilsener. However, Oskar Bluesí version of this style is better.

Victoryís Prima Pils is a classic in the craft brewing world and a favorite among East Coast folk. Itís not hard to see why. This brew packs a lot of hop aroma into its light, golden, and effervescent body. The taste captures the best aspects of hops and lagers. Crisp sensations and moderate bitterness paired with clean yeast and bread flavor. The pairing of heavy hopping and lagers isnít as novel as it once was, but Prima Pils still has a special place in the beer world.

Bottle. A- Corn, grains, subtle hops, slight citrus. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, minimal white head. T- Subtle bitterness, corn, cereal, lemon. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Iíve heard good things about this and honestly, I didnít know why, itís a pilsener. After trying, I can agree that itís a decent beer and the added subtle hop notes are nice but itís still nothing that excited me. Pretty standard, good for itís style I guess, but not that great of a beer.

gold, clear, little lace. Floral nose. Medium body, intense flavors, bright and refreshing mouthfeel, dry but lingering and delicious aftertaste. Very bitter almost hiding the underlying sweetness, Hoppy is an understatement, floral, resiny, honeyed finish, very complex. Like for many beer drinkers, a favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
