Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

12 oz bottle. Bought it with good intensions. I wanted to have another good victory. This one was not as good as the others. Poures a light head and golden yellowish body. Grass and light hops are present. Good, not great.

From unclemattie via trade. Thanks! The pour was golden in color and slightly turbid. A fizzy, one-finger plus tall head formed and provided decent lacing. The aroma was tart lemon initially, with spicy saaz hops coming in and trying to offer some balance. The flavor was sharp, tart citrus with only a bit of the expected spicy hops coming through. The mouthfeel was thin and the finish was clean. I think this one was a tad past its prime. Would love to try it fresh on tap as it seems to have plenty of underlying potential.

Pours a light golden yellow. Body is light with a light mouthfeel. The skunky hop content is quite a bit of a surprise. One of the better light beers around.

I enjoyed this, but I felt it was a very average pilsener. It was better than normal, but not above. It smelled of some like hops and it tasted like every pilsener I’ve ever had that didn’t taste like asshole.

Very good for a pilsener. Golden, light foamy head etc. Just like you’d want and expect from a pilsener. At first the flavor is very, very bitter. Then it eases up and gains complexity. Light and refreshing. I usually drink heavy, dark beers, and drinking this cold on a hot day is a good way to enjoy it.

Clear golden with medium white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of flowers and rubber. Sweet and hoppy flavor with floral, caramel and fruity notes. Ends bitter.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2009 Sample, on tap at FFF Brewpub. Pours very light yellow. Light and smooth easy drinker. Lightly hopped, undertones of citrus. Lacking very much depth, but overall refreshing.

12 ounce bottle from Glenville beverage. Very hoppy, like you would expect. I think mine may have been a little old. The bottle was a little dusty. Smooth beer none the less. Nice and citrusy, nice lace.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2008 At first pour there was a skunky aroma which I dont mind under the right circumstances and this worked The skunkiness dissipates pretty quickly. Pours golden with limited white head. Flavor is crisp bitter and refreshing. Decent pilsener.
