4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 hennes (932) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - APR 22, 2002
Long lasting head with heaps of lacy foam and a rich floral perfume. In this case, florality is florality - it really does smell like a late summer garden, when the air is heavy and an exquisite drowsiness buzzes over all. Tatse? Well they get more out of their Saaz than anyone else, that’s certain, and the rest of the beer is almost grand enough to pull it off.

Yummy....great Pilsner from Victory. Pours a golden yellow color with a large white head. Thirst quenching indeed, this one goes down smooth. Re Rate: I just got some more of this and it is fantastic. I had to bump up the aroma and flavor points because I had it rated too low.

Gold in colour. Aroma is nicely hoppy, herbs, and grass. Flavour is crisp, dry, hoppy. Very good quality pilsener. Thanks hopscotch.

From draught. Small head that dissipated but left some lacing. Weak hop aroma. Nice golden color and smooth palate. Slightly sweet and nicely hopped. Slightly bitter/hoppy finish. Crisp and refreshing.

12 oz - The WIne Source (best consumed by November 09). Chill hazed gold, creamy white head. Fresh grassy lemon zest aromas ride soft waves of peppered hay and honey bread. Crisp spicy peppered hop flavors balance well on a drying citric-grassy backbone. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, snappy bitter finish. A great summer refresher that to me is best in class...

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2008 Thin white head. The body is a rich gold color with few bubbles. Aroma is floral and slightly herbal. Also notes of iced tea. The taste the taste has strong vegetable notes with some earthy hops to back it up. A little carrots, ginger and some white bread. Interesting and solid for the style. Thanks civforprez for bringing this one to me. Trying agian recently as it arrived fresh in Iowa. Solid and it is a prime example of the style.

easily the best pilsner i've ever had. Average pilsener color and aroma, but a great smooth flavor that was very drinkable and very complex at the same time... definately a keeper
