Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

Best American brewed Pils I’ve ever tried...has that un-defineable extra certain something that makes it stand out, not sure if it’s the fantastic malt flavor, the perfect balance, or the picture perfect noble hop bitterness and flavor...Prima pils is definitely "all that"!

My absolutely favorite pilsner. As noted below, it pours with tremendous clarity and a delicate yellow color. The head is absolutely magnificent for a lager… almost Duvel-like! A gentle aroma somewhat indeterminate, then the taste… Pure heaven! First and foremost, Saaz hops, then more Saaz hops, then a delicate maltiness, then a gentle but persistent malty finish with more Saaz hops. Oh so crisp (I hate that adjective!) and refreshing. Served ice-cold, it’s fun to drink – the hops and malt more than hold their own.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2009 12 oz bottle via shigadeyo (thanks!).Pours a semi hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy hops, pears and a bit of yeast. Taste is very hoppy for a Pilsner. Bitter aftertaste. Thin body. Watery mouthfeel. Basically a bunch of hops in water.... 7/8/2009-rerate-orig was 6/3/4/2/8 on 11/12/2006-wow either my palette has changed a LOT in almost 3 years, or this beer has gotten much better! Pours a clear gold with an everage white head. Nose is all saaz.oh wondrous saaz. THis is pils perfection. What i always imagined a VERY fresh Pilsner Urquell might be like.Umm this is world calss Pils perfection. Near perfect taste, mouthfeel, carbonation. me needs more!

Wow, now I’ve had a few we’ll say "imperial" pilsners. Magic Hat and Troge, but this one, after a couple of tries, I was convinced, this is the best of the other ones I’ve had. Great hoppy flavor for a pilsner. Pick this over Miller, Coors, Bud, Corona, Yuengling Light. Sam Light is pretty good.

Very good pils, if you are looking for one. I bought this six pack at Thorpes in RI. Will get again if I ever am in need of something refreshing.

I’m not a pilsner drinker. There, I said it. Well, actually, I wasn’t a pilsner drinker until I found this beer. I was reluctant to try it but now that I did, I’m hooked. Hoppy and light grain aromas give a hint of what’s to come. Teasing flavors of hops drive this beer in a surprising way. Drinkable, enjoyable, perfect.

Bottle, poured into a tulip tasting glass. Big pour leads to two fingers sticky white head. Beer is a beautiful golden straw. Retention is high, as is lacing. Crackery nose with spicy hop presence. Herbal and floral, with notes of lime and a touch of sulfur. Tastes surprisingly bitter for a pils. Over the top noble hop presence leads to the same leafy/floral notes, along with a high degree of minerality and a bit of soapy bitterness. Bright and lively carbonation keeps things light and refreshing, especially when paired with the dry aftertaste. This is simply one of the best lagers I have ever tasted. Very flavorful, bitter, drying and refreshing. Easily the best pilsner I have tasted. Kudos to Victory.

The best dry and crispy, yet flowery pils I know. the best in its style for craft beer lovers.

Fantastic pilsner. Hop-heavy with good malt background and a lot of style.
