COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher.

Truly one of the finest American pilseners. No need to travel to Prague!

Best American brewed Pils I’ve ever tried...has that un-defineable extra certain something that makes it stand out, not sure if it’s the fantastic malt flavor, the perfect balance, or the picture perfect noble hop bitterness and flavor...Prima pils is definitely "all that"!

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2009 12 oz bottle via shigadeyo (thanks!).Pours a semi hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy hops, pears and a bit of yeast. Taste is very hoppy for a Pilsner. Bitter aftertaste. Thin body. Watery mouthfeel. Basically a bunch of hops in water.... 7/8/2009-rerate-orig was 6/3/4/2/8 on 11/12/2006-wow either my palette has changed a LOT in almost 3 years, or this beer has gotten much better! Pours a clear gold with an everage white head. Nose is all saaz.oh wondrous saaz. THis is pils perfection. What i always imagined a VERY fresh Pilsner Urquell might be like.Umm this is world calss Pils perfection. Near perfect taste, mouthfeel, carbonation. me needs more!

Wow, now I’ve had a few we’ll say "imperial" pilsners. Magic Hat and Troge, but this one, after a couple of tries, I was convinced, this is the best of the other ones I’ve had. Great hoppy flavor for a pilsner. Pick this over Miller, Coors, Bud, Corona, Yuengling Light. Sam Light is pretty good.

hmmm, yummy. Picked this up on sale - loved the the label....what a surprise. Very crisp and clean, exactly how a good pilsener should be. I enjoyed every drop. Wonderfully refreshing bitter finish.

Very good pils, if you are looking for one. I bought this six pack at Thorpes in RI. Will get again if I ever am in need of something refreshing.

I’m not a pilsner drinker. There, I said it. Well, actually, I wasn’t a pilsner drinker until I found this beer. I was reluctant to try it but now that I did, I’m hooked. Hoppy and light grain aromas give a hint of what’s to come. Teasing flavors of hops drive this beer in a surprising way. Drinkable, enjoyable, perfect.

On draught at restaurant. Clear gold colour with large white head, looks like a pilsner as drawn by an artist. Herbal nose. Malty flavour with full taste. Fine finish long and dry. This is a wonderful pilsner. I loved it.
