This is a great pilsner. JZ brought this one to the 2003 Beer exchange. Pours with a decent head and great carbonation. Lacing hangs on for a long time and color is a perfect light gold. Nice and bitter, but with a clarity and brilliance most pilseners miss. This would be a great summer beer when the sun is shining hot and you need a good brew. Decently dry and biting as it finishes with a light mouthfeel. Not as hoppy as some say about this beer, but definitely a keeper.

I find myself newly sympatico with the pilsner cause. Maybe it has to do with the warm springlike weather. Or with having had almost nothing but double IPAs and barleywines all winter long. But I am so ready for this. A nice crisp pilsner like from the old country. I would give it a 9 or 10 in the taste category if there just slightly more bitterness.

Bottle: Pours a pale gold lager in the pilsner flute with a nice tight-pored 2 finger cap. Good retention and lacing. Moderate carbonation.
Aroma is floral with some fresh cereal and grassiness. Fresh and pungent to the nose.
Soft mineral salts palate. Up front biscuity malts and spicey-piney hops fight for balance then this dries out and lightly bitters in the crisp quenching finish.
Faithful rendition of a German Pils. Artfully executed and properly presented.
A dynamite Pilsner, pretty much sex in a bottle.

I am convinced that Victory is incapable of making anything less than excellent beer.
Pours a pure golden colour and smells hoppy, fresh and very slightly citriussy.
Taste is sharp - hops and some malt and even a small herbal component. What remains is a nice, mild hoppiness that destroys thirst without overpowering the taste buds. And man, does it ever go down easily.
I really hope that this becomes an LCBO regular.

clear yellow body that was almost glowing.nice white head that sat down very fast.i detect some citus type hops blended with some earth and wheat in the aroma.flavor mixes up the same with the hops comming out a bit stronger in the finish.the mouthfeel is nice and crisp and the palate is very complex for a pilsner.excellent work by the victory people.

Has a strong aroma almost smells like a skunk. The flavor is very good it starts out with fizz and carbonation then comes the flavors of hops, malts, and honey with a crisp finish. So far this is my favorite Pilsener

Nice hoppy aroma. crisp unmistaken pils finish. My favorite pils. I am an IPA hop hound and Prima provides the lightness of a Pils for quenching and enough hops to make one feel near their hoppy home. Planning to home brew this soon if I can get the right lagering temp.
