4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
I really like the way the hops are the focus of this, the malt and yeast support the flavors of the hops. I could drink these any time since the noble hop flavors are there and fresh with some nice herbal and floral elements. The finish is dry which keeps you coming back for more. Prima is a great example of an American Pilsner that pays tribute to German Pils yet puts their own stamp on it.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 l draught @ William K Kurvi, Helsinki. Very pale lager with a nice head. This has quite a lot citrus flavoured hops. Not too much, though. Taste is close to session APA. Body is quite weak, more like Helles than Pilsener.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled from a bottle at Winberies restaurant in Oak Park, Chicago. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a solid white head. Crisp flavours with a good dough-like malt taste and notes of grass and herbs. Good flavour of Czech hops giving a refreshing finish. A good non-European Pilsner. Very drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured out light gold 4ºSRM.
Nose is creamy and redolent of steamed corn.
Mouthfeel is light and beery. Palate has sweet pale malt with water biscuits, dough and wheat flour. There is some minerality to the palate, but very light. Hops are noble and balanced perfectly.
Finish is clean with light hop bitter.
Goes on Favorites List!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not really what I look for in a pilsener, way too hoppy. But too light to enjoy as an IPA type of drink. Tolerable, but really all wrong IMO.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Classic pils aroma. Clean, short, and refreshing. Stereotypical German malt & yeast concoction. Great pilsner overall.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a flute. Big, fluffy white head that slowly dissipates and leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Clear yellow-gold with very fine carbonation. A little citrus in the nose, otherwise malty. Medium body, great mouthfeel, soft and smooth. Well balanced, with a lightly bitter finish. A joy to drink. I don’t frequent pilsners, but this is the best that I’ve had.
