Pours clear golden with small white head, good head retention for a pils. Flavor: begins mellow and untraceable then becomes nicely spicy and hoppy. Finishes with a surprising roasted malt character in the throat. medium-light to light body. Very drinkable! I’ll admit it, I’m biased to Ales. But, this Pilsener is a revelation! A very enjoyable and hoppy Lager!! Nice for the warmer spring and summer months.

Aroma is very nice and clean, crisp floral and citrus. Flavor hits you right away with a lot of bitter but clean herbal hops...a bit more bitter than I expected. But it does leave a nice clean aftertaste with a touch of subtle sweet malt. I began to enjoy it more towards the end of the glass. Very refreshing, but a touch too bitter, otherwise very nice. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Pours a perfectly clear yellow with a frothy white head. Nose is floral hops with some crisp sweet malt, nice wafts of citrus and lemon zest. Flavor is a sharp hop bitterness, followed by nice citrus and floral flavors along side just enough sweet to balance it out. FInishes dry and bitter. Excellent Pilsner. arrogantb (734), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Prima Pils on tap at the Falling Rock. The beer was golden yellow and clear. The head was white and loosely packed. The smell was earthy, dirty, hops. Some mineral too. The taste was also very earthy and slightly crisp. This might be really good for the style but I don’t like lagers so I don’t know. This was a good choice for a hot day however.
Serving type: on-tap

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 2, 2010 Pours a crystal clear gold with a thin white ring of foam. Aroma is spicy noble hops and light malt sweetness. Excellent stiff hop presence in the taste, malting is definitely backgrounded, a bit of alcohol, and a lovely herbal finish. Good carbonation, crisp body. This is not my favourite style, but this is an excellent beer - very well-balanced and complex. Prima! esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
